Our beloved and talented herbalist, the first to lead our knowledge of medicine.
Sleepy Oak had trouble fitting in with the pack at first. He was older than the leader himself, and wasn't sure if hunting was something he was good at.
Thankfully, he found solace in being a Herbalist. He could explore and gather resources on his own time, and use his knowledge from the wild to aid him. He poured countless hours into his dedicated research, and helped protect our pack from sickness.
Though deeply wise, Sleepy Oak's age began to show. His paws were just as skilled, but he moved with a certain slowness that justified his name. Some feared he truly may not have much time left...
On 1-4-21, Sleepy Oak retired from his position as Herbalist, though stayed nearby to help train the next generation. Staying by Dusty Gale's side in his trials.
On 1-20-21, Sleepy Oak perished in his sleep. He had been feverish the day before, mumbling about joining the stars soon. He is forever honored as the first Herbalist who watched over us all, protecting us in sickness and in health. His soul departed with a brilliant grey sparkle, and joined the rest of the beautiful lights in the sky.
