Bluejay

Bluejay was born two days before the former Leader Celine was retiring. Celine knew from looking at him that he would make a great leader and had great potential. She spoke of this with his mother who was honored and agreed with her. So it was decided Celine wanted Bluejay to be the successor when she passed. When Celine passed, a moment of silence was held by all before they sang the song of her parting. Afterwards Bluejay was chosen to take her place. He was confused after all he was still a puppy. Suddenly he started to feel odd, blinking as he looked around and down at himself. Suddenly he was an adult, his mouth dropped open in awe and curiosity. 'H..How is this possible...? Why me? What's so special about me?' he kept asking himself.

Since he never really got to experience his pup hood, he still acted like a pup more often than not, the others let it slide knowing in time he would become more serious, as he was already showing that he could be serious and lead when needed. He still had doubts about himself and wondered if he would be a good leader. Shortly after becoming the new Leader of the Adolphus pack they had another member join the pack. Bomb-Grade Uranium , she was the prettiest thing he had ever laid eyes on. He of course was shy at first, but finally found the courage to court her. Not long after Bomb-Grade Uranium (Uri for short) accepted the request to be his mate. He couldn't be happier and with her by his side he knew he could do anything.

A few happy years later Uri died before Bluejay did. This caused something within him to snap. He was never himself. He grew short tempered and often snapped at his pack mates. Most of them were understanding. Younger ones were not. Controversy and anarachy started to unfold. Bluejay wouldn't stand for it. He tried he really did to become the wolf everyone had known him as. But because the love of his life ended before his did he couldn't find himself again. After a year of battling among the pack things started to settle down and come back to normal. Bluejay with the help of his son Jr. was starting to get the hang on being himself again. Everyday he missed his mate and every day he battled the darkness within himself.

As he was getting close to retiring he chose a different wolf to take his place. One that wasn't even born into the pack. Of course this made his son Bluejay Jr really mad. He feared an uprising might start or the new alpha Norðurljós and his mate Gealán would have problems because of Jr's jealousy. "Do not worry my friend. I will look out for the new Alpha and Luna." Odette assured him and he smiled with relief. Shortly after passing the reigns to Norðurljós he passed on to the heavens and joined the former Alpha Celine.
