River had been a loner since he'd been a pup, only really tolerating the company of his brother.
He wasn't sure when it started, that he began to accumulate a small pack, but he takes responsibility for them. They're family now, they depend on him and as much as he hates to admit it, he depends on them. He never expected, or wanted to be in a position of leadership; but there he was.
