History
By the time he reached adolescence, Beam chose to train as a pupsitter alongside his two siblings. He quickly showed promise for the work. Having endless energy for pups and being ready an alert in case of danger. Beam made it clear he would fight anything to keep his pack and the pups safe.
By the time Beam reached adulthood, he was considered one of the pack's best pupsitters. He had taken his apprenticeship seriously and had learnt so much from the senior pupsitters. Playing with the pups was the highlight of his day, and he always seemed to sense when something was wrong long before anyone else.
As much as Beam loved caring for pups, he had no interest in having any of his own. As far as he was concerned, being a pupsitter meant all the pack pups were his in a way. The idea of a mate, however, was appealing, though he wouldn't mind if he never met someone. Finding a good mate is hard and he didn't want to waste his life worrying about finding some special mate. He had his pack and his family; he was hardly lonely or lacking love.
Beam cried a lot when his mother passed, he had always been close with her and losing her broke his heart. He was glad to have his pack there to comfort him. He cried again when his father passed, like another claw through his heart. Alas, time keeps moving forward, and with it did Beam. His pack needed him, he had to pick himself up eventually.
When Rust passed, Beam took on the role of mentor. Beam loves caring for pups and now overseeing teaching them important life skills has shown to be a noble job that Beam adores.
On the 7th year and 6th month of his life, Beam made his way to the mountains summit. Caribou, Gem, and Taiga keeping him company through most of the journey. Once at the top, looking out at the endless sky, Beam, Gem, and Taiga were greeted by their parents, Rose and Coral, who gently guided them to the afterlife.
