Odette's story begins when her mother Ashen returns home from her travels. On her way back home she found a fancy for a male in another pack while he was exploring. She found herself with pups once returning home and knew this would be her last litter. Odette was born and she grew quickly. She was the biggest of her siblings and loved listening to her mothers stories of her travels. As she grew she wanted to explore the world like her mother did. She told her mother and their new alpha Bluejay and both gave her their blessings, but warned her to be careful because of all the strange things happen to the land lately. She promised she would do so. Her mother was proud and told her that she would get her coat of the thundering herd once she was ready to start her travels. Odette was extremely excited, although she didn't want to leave the pack just yet as she knew her mother wouldn't be alive much longer, finding a fancy for a wolf she soon found herself with pups. Her mother passed the day before she found out she was bearing pups, she mourned her loss, sang the parting song and took up the coat of the thundering herd her mother had promised her, donning it she gathered her pups around her and began on her journey.

Odette first came to a nearby pack just a few days later. It was a good thing she found them, for her pups needed to rest before winter. When they were old enough, they were brought home where she knew they would be well cared for as she continued her travels. This pack told her they knew her mother Ashen, and they were happy to see her legacy living on in her daughter. Next she came upon a pack that had moved to the Deciduous Forest for the ease of food gathering for their large pack in the winter months...a large puppy boom making the lead decide to stay until further notice. So, Odette was more than welcome to stay among them until she was ready to move on again, and being the only Traveler among the pack she was more than happy to help out with den chores to help the frazzled pupsitters and den-keepers. Many members of the pack remarked about how they had met her mother as well when she stopped by, having nothing but good things to say about her. Odette didn't need to travel far before she reached the neighboring pack in the Grassplains. she had stopped by a small creek for a drink but when she looked up she saw a young male, who was also staring back at her. in his charming nature they made some small talk on the way back to the main territory. she had soon found herself with pups once more. she gave her concerns with the packs leader, Costello, about these pups. the leader simply stated to not worry and before she knew it- the pups were born! three pups came into the world named Dandy, Dust and Daisy. she was moved into a different cave that was a nursey. many pups and mothers greeted her and her litter. they explained that her pups will always be welcomed back. Odette traveled all winter so when she finally came upon smell of stranger pack she got really excited, forgeting about being cautious. She didn't notice gray wolf running towards her until she got knocked onto the ground. "Hi! You're a traveler right?" wolf asked. "Oh, right. I should get off." She said, laughing nervously. I'm Orla, and you are..?" "Odette" She responded, getting up. Orla flicked her tail happily. "Come, I'll show you around our terrains" Two she-wolves spent whole week together, hunting, talking and fooling around, until Odette felt she has to move on again. Odette encountered Meirchion's pack near the beginning of the lunar rites celebration they hosted. It seemed that the wolves in this pack were fond of celebrating and having fun as often as they could. The traveler was welcomed to reside on a den reserved for wolves of her same disposition. The stud of the pack took interest in when she was selected from he crowd to participate in the ceremonies. Odette witnessed the fire show conducted by the herbalist, amazed at how proficient remullant was at mixing the herbs to switch colors in the flame and create controlled explosions that sent sparks flying into the sky. Meirchion and Odette´s eyes meet and she though he looked stunning under the glow of the fire. They had fund during her stay, and she decided to wait until her pups were born to continue her journey. As soon as her pups were old enough to travel, she took them on the journey of a lifetime. They were too young to remember it, but at the time, they both did surprisingly well. Maybe they got it from their mother; they were born to adventure. They soon found their next reprieve, and Odette could not be prouder of her pups as they made friends with the pups of the pack they were staying with. It was good to see a familiar place, bustling with so much life again, after the last time she'd been here, it had been almost somber and quiet in comparison.[stingray17818 added pasadena oak branch]

When it had come time for her to leave, Odette took her pups with her. She herded them together saying her goodbyes before starting north to the woods. Along the way she met another she-wolf who helped her with the pups. Together the two traveled into the taiga where they chances upon a friendly pack who were happy to take them in. Odette was glad to finally have helping paws to look out for her small pups.

Traveling through the desert, Odette was startled by the sudden approach of a wolf. (She hadn't scented him, although he came from downwind...almost like he popped out of nowhere.) She steeled herself for battle, but the stranger was friendly. "Hey!" he said. "Are you a traveler? You look like a traveler! Do you need a place to stay? Do you like puppies?"It turned out the stranger was Renjiro of the Sun Stealers, and his pack was experiencing a pup crisis. Odette followed him back to his den, where there were almost as many newborns as adult wolves, plus a bunch of older pups scampering around. "They're gonna be fine hunters someday," said Renjiro, affectionately nuzzling a small red bean. "But for now, well...want to stay for a few weeks and help out? We've got lots of food!"Odette happily accepted. She loved pups, and had developed a knack for looking after them in her travels.[Lionel #34199 added: Kit Fox Kits]

[Obtained 3/13/22] #60856Odette stumbled upon a young pup by the name of Sherbet. It seemed that she had escaped the supervision of her pupsitter. Odette, amused, decided to teach Sherbet a few life skills in case she ever got into trouble from her shenanigans.

"I, uh, kind of got carried away."Odette got right to work. Pupsitting is valuable and highly skilled labor, and don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise.

After a long journey and many stories to be told Odette returned home. She had found that while away on her travels their Luna had passed on, which left Bluejay in all sorts of disarray. Instead of trying to help him through these tough times of his. Most of the younger generation of the pack were plotting to overthrow Bluejay, including his son Junior. Odette couldn't believe it. One night Odette met with Junior and gave him a good whopping alongside the head. "How could you do this to your father! Your mother would be very dispeased with you right now." Junior gave a oompf and rubbed where she had whopped him. "Look at him, he's tyranical I have to do whats right!" Odette let out a low growl. "And what is right is being there for your father! Your Alpha! He just lost his other half! He is grieving!" Bluejay Junior realized she was right, and so with the help of Odette and Bluejay Junior along with other members of the pack they were able to help Bluejay with his grieving. Odette then spent the rest of her days pupsitting and lounding. She would also mentor youngsters when needed.
