Volcano is a pup born to Mirrors and the Tavern Witch. Although his mother came from a well respected lineage, Mirrors herself isn't too respected. Nor is Volcano's father, who wasn't even part of the pack. Thanks to his parents, Volcano was treated poorly as the pack and viewed as "tainted" like his older sister, Cave Crawler. Wanting to prove his pack wrong, Volcano began training himself at a young age by honing his best talents.
As an adolescent, Volcano hung out with a wolf his age. He was part of a noble lineage- the Firestarters lineage and the pack's alpha lineage. He was highly respected for his bravery and hard work. Volcano admired him, and the two got along well thanks to their similar personalities. They were like best bros, and often hunted together with their mentor, Leo.
Growing up with Firewood made Volcano realize something about himself. Although Cherry Root attempted to find him a mate, Volcano wasn't interested in any of the pack females. In fact, it wasn't until he reached two years old that he realized he had feelings for Firewood. So I'm gay, huh? He thought to himself.
Firewood was bisexual, which was a good thing for him. Unfortunately, Firewood preferred chasing after ladies more, and mainly viewed Volcano as a friend which crushed his heart a little. Being friend-zoned by your crush is never fun, but Volcano still has a chance to make Fire notice him.
As an adult and a full fledged hunter, Volcano was able to prove himself to be an amazing stalker, finding large prey from all the way in the tundra. This made Firewood admire him for his stalking talent, and earned Volcano lots of respect in the pack. This wasn't enough to make Fire fall for him yet, so Volcano continued to work hard to prove his worth to everyone.
