Background

Drawn to the moonlight since birth, you'll never find Whimsica inside the den. Instead, you'll sense her presence atop a rock in the near distance, staring up at the moon as if her soul lies within it. Deemed the Goddess of the Night, she howls a gentle, mournful melody into the stars. Although her quiet nature portrays her as timid, she merely just prefers the night sky over society and socialization. When she was younger, the other pups in the pack would gossip and spread rumors that she was somehow possessed by a demon of the first ages, a being that would strip the soul out of mortals and hold them in the moon, causing the mortal to stare at the night sky, trying to get their soul from the moon. Most of the pups said this would explain why she often stared at the sky for hours on end without moving, even though the adults suspected that she had been chosen for something and would chastise them for poking fun at a potential future goddess. However, this didn't bother Whimsica in the slightest, in fact, she never even really noticed the others. She still to this day will look into the night sky, though most of her time now is focused on her pups and her beloved friend, Medusa.
