Quiet Paws

Quiet Paws was a sneaky wolf who challenged herself with the task of finding every pack's camp and exploring them unnoticed. One day, she was attacked while exploring the camp of the Shrouded Pack. A black wolf with bared fangs had pinned her to the ground and threatened her that if she did not explain why she was here, she would be chased out or worse. A light blue wolf shouted, "Hidden Shade!" at the black wolf and she immediately let Quiet Paws go. The light blue wolf walked over, and Hidden Shade stepped aside, still glaring at Quiet Paws. The light blue wolf asked her why she was here, and she said that she was just exploring the camp and that she was sorry for intruding. The light blue wolf sighed and said that she may go as long as she does not return. She then saw, out of the corner of her eye, a bright yellow wolf that looked surprisingly like Shining Star. Sh paused, staring at the wolf before asking the light blue wolf if she could actually join the pack. The wolf looked confused, and Quiet Paws could not blame her. A wolf who was just attacked now asking to join the pack? She insisted and the light blue wolf accepted. The wolf introduced herself as Ice Runner and welcomed her to the pack of 7. When she heard about the roles, she immediately offered to scout the surrounding territories. She caught a glare from the black wolf who obviously did not seem too pleased but stayed quiet in order to wait for Ice Runner to answer. Ice Runner said that it would be great since they only had Hidden Shade as a scout and nodded at the black wolf. Throughout her days of being in the pack, she has tried her best to get on the good side of Hidden Shade. She started conversations with the black wolf as they were exploring, and Quiet Paws realized she has come to like Hidden Shade. She has considered telling the wolf, though she did not know if Hidden Shade would feel the same.
As she lived within the pack, she tried to talk to Shining Star, though it seems as if he had entirely forgotten about the group of friends he was once part of.
When Shining Star disappeared, she searched the entire forest, though she found nothing. The pack came to the conclusion that Shining Star had left to go back to his friends. She knew this was not the case. When Shining Star left the group, they separated. They were unable to continue without Shining Star as a kind of big brother that kept the group together. Fights broke out, they stole from each other, one was… even killed. After the death of Rolling Clouds, she had to leave. Shining Star would not be able to go back or find any of their former friends. So why? Why did he leave?

While talking in camp, a little red pup with three eyes walked into camp. Redwood Shade noticed them first. The pup didn't seem to know how to speak and shook their head when asked for their name or where they came from. Quiet Paws decided that she and Hidden Shade could take care of them. Hidden Shade first refused, stating that a pup with three read eyes was… unusual and outside the known mutations. Quiet Paws insisted that the pup was at least 4 months old and they couldn't be any danger. Hidden Shade finally agreed with her and they both adopted the pup they named Blood Moon.

Quiet Paws knew she would die soon. She was getting old, almost unable to explore the territories like she used to with Hidden Shade. She missed Hidden Shade and hoped that she would do fine without her present. However, she knew she could always stay beside Hidden Shade in spirit and guide her through the rest of her life. For now, she would meet the other wolves that had died. "Hello, old friends."
