Azalea left her pack at 4 years old, she left because her pack was falling apart, there was fighting every day between members of the pack, pups were dying because the pupsitters weren't doing their job, wolves were dying from sickness due to the inexperienced herbalist who had too much weight on her shoulders intel the pressure became too much and she ran away, Azalea was determined to fix everything, she was the only thing somewhat holding everything and everyone together, she didn't want to give up, this was her family, her life, but slowly one by one they all died off intel it was just her and her brother, she was devastated, "what do I do now..? everything's gone..." "no it's not, you still got me" said Snow (aka her brother) "Shut up! do you even realize how bad this is!? WE HAVE NOTHING! no family, no food, no-" "Yeah yeah I know, but it could be worse" he said, "what do you mean!? NOTHING can be worse than this!" "if you say that you going to jinx it, now look I know stuff is really bad right now, but just sitting here arguing isn't going to fix anything" "I know.. wait, do you remember what mom said about the land across the river? maybe just maybe we can get there and-" what no way we cant cross a river!?" said Snow, "yes we can! we need to at least try!" said Azalea, "No way, I'm not going" said Snow, "well I am with or without you" *silence fell between the two* "UGH FINE ill go!" said Snow, "Good, let's go, we can hunt some food on the way" said Azalea.
Then the two followed along the river intel they found a way over, then they went through the forest intel they stumbled into Blackfangs territory, Blackfang stoped them both asking where they were going, they told her that this is where they were going, Blackfang then told them that this was her territory, and they were welcome to stay if they joined her pack, after a lot of hesitation and careful thought, they decided it would be in their best interest to join, so they did.
Blackfang and Azalea got very close, and Blackfang made Azalea her Assistant.
