Marble

Marble was born from Orion and Eclipse. She was a bit of a lazy pup and never really did anything, not even play with her littermates. When her and her littermates were weaned, they started training. Eclipse tried to teach Marble about different herbs with the Healer, Rain, but instead, Marble took a nap in one of the nests!

After months of her refusing to learn, Orion and Eclipse decided to have become a traveler, to test if she really learned anything from her training. Marble swore she would prove to them that she can do it, so when she became a adolesent, she left the pack as a traveler to see how other packs ran and to prove herself.

Will she prove herself to her pack and her family? It is time for her to travel Wolvden! Check out The BloodNight Packs Traveler Journals!

Upon arriving to The Quiet Step Pack, Marble was accepted pretty quickly. Some wolves were skeptical but it seemed they have had other wolves like her pass through. She watched their way of life and learned many valuable skills. Now she has said her good byes and ventured out of their territory, ready for her next stop in life.

TheYeens
One day Odin was out rock hunting Stone Pile and as he looks up from the creek he spies a fellow wolf across the river, Frosty. At first Odin was uneasy about this newcomer, so he slowly heads home. A few days later he sees Frosty playing with the pups, and he decides for now Frosty may stay... For now.....

Marble at Whispering NightfallMarble was exploring a forest. She recognized her surroundings and the smell, this was probably near her pack where she was born, but actually not that near. It was only the trees that were the same type that was near her first pack.
Far away she saw the mountains that she could also see at her first pack. She sighed, she really needed to rest as her paws could no longer carry her.

Soon after that she thought that she heard two wolves arguing, so she sneaked a little closer to the voices. She ended up hiding in a bush. ''Blink, are you serious?'' The one said with a face full of anger. ''I mean- Ugh!'' The young wolf snarled. They stared at each other, the gray and old one left without any more words.
The young wolf sighed, soon spotting Marble. ''Uhh.. Who are you?''. Marble hesitated a moment before coming out of the bush, he seemed friendly. ''I'm Marble, I don't belong to any pack at this moment.'' Marble smiled. ''Hm... Right, okay, I'm Blink'' the young wolf answered.

Sometime later after getting to know each other Blink brings Marble to Whispering Nightfalls den. The lead wolf Hollow lets Marble stay for a few days. Finnaly she could rest, but she was going to miss her friend Blink. I put spoiler because it became quite long

Arrived in Sigilo on 12/9/2022
Marble arrived to see a sizable pack in the process of greeting another female and a dark colored male adolescent. She was grateful that she wasn't the only visitor to this strange pack. What surprised her the most how frequently wolves came and went from the pack. Puppies came and went, it was rather strange. Especially since one male seemed to father most if not all of the puppies. One of the other newcomers was trying to make conversation but she was too compelled by the packs youth. She ran forward and let out a playful woof. Maybe she could learn more if she played with the pups and asked them questions during. One thing that becane evidently clear, was that this pack had no shortage of wolves. There was one guardian for a maximum of three pups. She was iimpressed to say the very least. There were several other females whos bellies were swollen with pregnany and she sighed longingly. She quickly became captivated by the pups, longing for her own even. It surprised her, never having considered it until now. That night she sought out the company of the Alpha male, and it wouldn't be long after that until her own belly showed the tell tale signs of pregnancy. It wasn't long before she gave birth to four puppies. One dark chocolate brown one. One marbled one just like hers. The third had colors that reflected the alpha male. The final one had a lighter coat with a green blanket atop it. Again, colors from their father. She would have snickered had she not been so exhausted.

Upon arriving in the shadowy heart of the Salmonstone's pack territory, Marble was pleased when she saw a pale wolf with marbled green fur, sunning himself upon some stones. The wolf, scenting the strong aroma of travels on her coat, invited her over to join him. This was definitely her speed!. The wolf barely paid mind to her as he continued to relax, lifting one eye to scan her. They spoke for a while as he introduced himself as Wicklow, and eventually took her to meet the rest of his packmates. To her surprise, most of these wolves were not as laid back as her speckled friend, and she was soon put to work watching a bundle of pups. It takes a pack to raise a pup afterall!, She was in over her head for what she got herself into, but every wolf she met had a great story to tell, and a task to be done. Although when Marble departed she was covered in twigs and dirt, she was happy to have met this busily pack, especially the calm spirit Wicklow.

Lore: Treading through the tall grass of the grasslands, Marble climbed a hill to get a better view of her surroundings. Spotting a cluster of trees in the distance, Marble decided to head over as summer was nearing and the days were getting warmer. Before she did, she spotted a strange crater not too far away from the trees, and padded over to check it out. The inside of the crater was filled with water, and it wasn't very deep. The bottom was completely rock. Huh.. Deciding not to dwell on it, she lapped up the water and went over to the trees. That is when she saw a bunch of puppies staring at her. Where did they all come from? The pups then skittered into the burrows of the trees, and a few adults emerged from deeper into the tree cluster. Marble lowered her posture with her ears pinned. Had she wandered into another pack's territory? Two dark pelted wolves approached her. One introduced themselves as Helena, and the other wolf was her twin sister, Heather. The sisters happily invited Marble to join them, as their pack was accepting travelers. Marble relaxed a little and agreed to stay for a bit. There, she spent her time goofing around with the puppies and exchanging stories with the pupsitters.

Lore: Marble had arrived not too long after Khonsu had left and the pack was still abuzz with activity. A quiet dark pup would approach, wagging her tail eagerly, offering a bone. Marble gave a tiny smile upon seeing a young pup choose to show her such kindness. She had led the way to where the adults were waiting. Optimus and Knock Out would be waiting at the ready to greet her, while the pup would run back to an older, tough-looking female wolf and an adolescent male. The herbalist and a male adolescent seemed to pass by, carrying a big bunch of herbs. She couldn't help but think it would be nice to spend time with the pups and learn more from pupsitters here too.

Lore: Silent fang It has been days since she saw any wolf, she was completly lost. Her journey was longer than expected and Lupus know how relief she felt when she heard some pups barkings and howling along side a much older voice. She arrived in a small meadow with two young pups who didn't saw her as their back was facing her. They were focused on the elders explaining them how to properly howl. It didn't take long for the older wolf to see Marble. Tho she wasn't very pleased, she growled at Marble, the pups ran behind the old wolf. Marble took a step back before introducing herself. The old female looked at her like a hawk she told a pup to run back to camp and ask for the help of Owen. Marble was clever enough to know that the old lady wasn't a threat, she was just protecting the pups from a stranger, Marble could overpower her easily and the old one probably know that too. Marble did her best to not look into the wolf's eyes. The sound of paw running toward their position could mean a battle or a peace. It's a light grey male with a red female she was old too. "Does all their female are old?" Thought Marble the male seem unfased by the situation as the red one had that peaceful aura around her. The wolf apologies for the behavior of her packmate, she respectfully bow her head to Marble, maybe to apologies, to say thank you, by pure respect? I guess we will never know. The red and POLITE wolf presented herself as Malice the beta, the old wolf was Olga the oldest and a retired chasser, the male was called Owen, he was good looking but he look like a pretentious and sassy wolf. Malice look again at Marble and asked her if she would like to rest within their pack, Olga looked at her like a fox with rabbies (a mad Karen) Marble nodded to the beta and soon they left. Malice was leading them and Owen was the last one. The pups were next to Olga who wasn't allowing them to go and see her. "What a lovely wolf." She thought
"-Don't pay attention to Olga she's an old and grumpy wolf, she's not happy that Malice was by your side. She is very kind once she's used to you but she's also very, and I mean very proud so as much as she have a lot to teach you she won't be nice with you and trust me, you want to avoid her furry. And she's not about the fact that soon the insect will eat her body."
Owen said, she sure was... something to say the least. Olga heard him, you could tell since she cursed at him. Malice scowled her for "saying bad words in front of the young one." This pack will be interesting, Malice apologize once again. The path wasn't long and chattering was heard in a rocky valley. Malice told the others to let them be. She led Marble to another old female. "No but like really? Is there any young wolf here besides Owen?" Marble thought 'cause yeah, she won't say that out loud. Malice explains what happend and the grey wolf sigh desperate. "I swear next time I will send Alpine. I'm sorry for Olga's behavior, she's very stressed lately she's not always like that. I'm Olden the alpha, nice to meet you." Olden wasn't as impressive as some alpha she had encounter but she sure seems nice. Malice took Marble to the travelers den, she said a lot is happening right know and, Olden is doing her best to keep the pack together. Marble told the beta it was okay and with that the red female left and Marble could finaly sleep in peace for the rest of the day. Her kindness took over her lazyness and helped the pupsitters to watch over the young one, she only had one or two pup so it was fine. She was introduced to the pack history and their believing. She was happy that not all wolves were old and she talked to some of her age. She didn't had much to do and she left her head full of stories and dreams.

As Marble was walking alone she found a fresh, half buried rabbit carcass. Soon, she saw a shadow casted over her. There were no trees nearby. SHe slowly looked up and saw... nature! " what are you doing here intruder?" nature asked, her tone wondering. " i'm a traveling wolf, i o to other packs and visit then leave" Marble explained. " we have a couple of our own travelers" Nature responded turning to leave before she called over her shoulder, "you coming?. Marble followed her into a small clearing which was bustling with adols westling,adults resting, and pups bothering there mother. She sat down near what she assumed was the nursery and fell asleep


Wanderers of the Sunlands "Evergrein550"
LORE:

Marble wrapped her young, whining puppies in cloak as she stumbled towards the Sunland's. She bustled with delight after finding out about the factions of wolves. She was prompted to join a pack, either, Malachite Lake or Sandbrush fields. The choice was... A pack that would protect her puppies, or a pack who understood her struggles and would provide. She went with the Sandbrush fields and met many females who where either pregnant, or near heat. She saw a lone mother like her sitting in the shade away from the rain and Marble just had to ask what happened to the father. The female introduced herself as Mooni, and told her that her pregnancy was the result of a pairing between her and her mate in which cheated on her with another, prettier female. Marble tells her that males are the worst anyways and continues on to put her pups in the nursery. She is saddened to see the sight of an empty nursery despite the pregnant females. She settles with her puppies and takes her first rest in ages.

She is awoken by yelping wolves and distressed cries. She hides her puppies in case of any danger and hastily slumps out of the den. A Bear had begun to attack the wolves. She cried out and grappled her pups to her cape as she ran to the Malachite Lake pack. She pleaded to their Apex's to help her pack and they accepted to send the "Broken Soldier" to take care of it but they said that they would need a crow's feather and the carcass of a mouse. She let out a low growl and begged that they just do it. The male stepped forward "Wulf, I can handle this" The Apex Female yelped "I'm not going to do anything drastic." He looked at her young with widened eyes and sighed "The Broken Soldier only responds to sacrifices and dire situations, like a band of humans, not one bear" He bared on side of his muzzle and stepped back to Sukani as she blinked her beautiful three eyes. "Wulf! We have to help them! They have puppies for goodness sake!" Sukani growled at him and widened her eyes. "Suki, your thinking is wrong, the Soldier doesn't respond to threats like bears, we don't want to waste the limited food we have" He grumbled "You don't know what I see of her puppies." She barked "I see that your puppy" She pointed to a gray puppy with darker patches "They have great potential to change the lands as we know it" She growled at Wulf and raised her tail as he shrunk down "Fine, If it means you won't tear me to shreds" He packed various pieces of meat and flowers until heading off to the Shrine.

Marble couldn't believe her ears! Her puppy, in a prophecy! She smiled at her and groomed her head after heading off into the Malachite nursery after getting permission to stay for a while. Her head wandered off as she fed her pups. She was told two days later that the pack had suffered no casualties but one injury. She returned and saw that Mooni was gravely injured. She mourned for her friends potentially lost puppies and returned to her duties a few days later.

She welcomed many wolves into the pack as it began to become crowded. She met a young female who resembled a star-touched fox, her name was Zora, and Marble got the pleasure to watch over her as she grew. She felt too crowded with the Sandbrush wolves and moved on to live in the Malachite lake pack, leaving her puppies behind with Ogrim to raise. She said her final goodbyes to Anira, Sorida, Jayze, and Sorrel before heading on.

Marble trotted along a worn out path leading to a foggy clearing going into the ground. She found herself with wolves around her growling and snarling. Marble growled back in a low, tired, tone. Sukani stepped out of her den to see what all the fuss was about and saw Marble sitting in the clearing, alone? Sukani gasped and ran towards her, embracing her in her warm grip.

Arrived in Starshade Pack on 4/25/2023
Marble continued on her journey and came to a large forest, the trees coated in bright green leaves. There was a gentle wind blowing through the trees, causing the branches to shake. It was summertime and the hums to summer bugs could be heard in the trees. The Starshade Pack's den was in a small clearing in the woods, where Marble was greeted by Alpha Merida who welcomed her into the pack. Marble offered her pupsitting skills to help the pack watch all the new puppies that had been born earlier that month. Marble enjoyed sitting for a pup named Minerva especially while in the Starshade Pack.
