From Saturn to Mars

6th October 2023 - Last Spring

Saturn opens her eyes. It's one of those pale and cold mornings that still clings to winter. It's one of those beautiful mornings, with misty horizon and wet grass and sunrays beaming the world. It's one of those mornings where she smiles. A sweet and beautiful smile while she remembers. Laughter with friends. Her alpha's trust when she arrived. Her beautiful family.

She turns her eyes to look at the three beautiful boys clinging to her belly. They are so small. And day by day, they grow. They grow and she won't see them hunt their first prey. Falling in love.

She knows. She can feel it in her bones. The shadow of Death leaning over her shoulder. She's old, Saturn. This litter is a miracle and she's grateful Mother Nature gave her these three. She sniffs their small bodies and licks their little heads and she loves that they're peacefull as she is.

She knows. But there's nothing she can do to stop time.
