Orange enjoyed being a tracker. But, when Rust passed Orange decided to take on the role of Mentor. She loves the role and feels her years of tracking and hunting has given her plenty of experience to pass on to the young pups of the pack.

Orange knows Finch has a hard time seeing the best in things, but she will always be there for their friend. Finch is grateful for Orange's unrelenting patience and optimism.


History

Orange was born to Clay and Sand alongside their littermates Winterberry, Cloud, and Patch. Orange has always loved helping around the pack, ever since she was small. They just wanted to do what they could to provide for their pack.

Once she reached adolescence, Orange made the decision to train as a Tracker. She enjoyed the role right away, her sensitive nose working well to help her track down prey. The senior wolves were impressed by Orange's skill and initiative and knew that this, along with her helpful personality, would help the wolf to become a very promising tracker.

Just as the senior wolves thought, Orange had shown herself to be a very promising Tracker by the time they reached adulthood. She loved being able to help her hunting team and being able to sniff out and hunt down prey.

Orange wouldn't mind having a mate one day, but she was also content with staying single. Trying to find a mate wasn't always an easy task and she was aware of just how many of her packmates never found a mate. However, Orange kept themselves open minded. Maybe one day.

Loosing her mother was very hard on Orange. She loved her mother and had a hard time accepting she was gone. The wolf spent a lot of her time comforting and seeking comfort in her family. Just as she was beginning to feel normal again, their father passed. Orange wasn't surprised when it hurt just as much, just grateful they still had their siblings to seek comfort in.

When Beam passed, Orange chose to take on the role of mentor. Orange is still getting used to the job, it is very different from being a tracker. Nonetheless, Orange believes her years of hunting has given her lots of experience and life skills, and she hopes to pass this on to the pack's pups.

On the 7th year and 6th month of her life, Orange made her way to the mountains summit. Caribou, Winterberry, Patch, and Cloud keeping her company through most of the journey. Once at the top, looking out at the endless sky, Orange, Winterberry, Patch, and Cloud were greeted by their parents, Clay and Sand, who gently guided them to the afterlife.
