Son of the strange Snowbringer, his past-life memories are eerie. He remembers the taste of not only deer but humans and wolves as well. Whenever the sun is too hot on his black coat he thinks of snow, and snow comes. When idle-minded the wind might blow in random cold gusts, or a few pieces of hail will fall from the cloudless sky. Out-of-place berry bushes sprout in his footsteps, and he uses them to wrap armor around his legs to deflect the snaps of less tolerant packmates. The only thing keeping him from being a total outcast is Alpha Sulakhan's wise words. Chenoo's grandmother Kathazia was essential to pulling the pack through a famine in their early days and her descendants deserve respect.

Chenoo is reserved but not a trouble-maker. He tries not the let the cold hang about him all the time so he can observe the butterflies sent by great-great grandmother Taiph. In one his first diplomatic moves Alpha Sulakhan chose another pup from a neighboring pack to be his mate. Mishegenabig is just as odd in her own way. Sulakhan uses his generosity to both as a reminder that everyone should seek harmony in their differences.
