Lana

All of her life, Lana wished to belong somewhere. She was born an unwanted pup in her old pack, destined to be driven off. If it wasn't for the kindness of her mother, she probably would've been killed as an infant. However, when her mother died during her adolescence, there was no one left to protect her. She was chased away from her old pack on a cold autumn evening while in the midst of mourning.

[ Side note: Lana is a NBW. I am not attacking any player's pack here. ]

Through patience, learning, and a bit of luck, Lana managed to survive by herself. She became skilled in tracking down small prey and leftover carcasses. She eventually established a home for herself, in a small cave in the mountains. She knew that her abilities could win her a place in another pack, but she didn't trust any other wolves. She knew about the pickiness of other packs, and feared the inevitable heartbreak of replacement and being driven off again.

That changed when two young wolves stumbled into her cave one fateful evening.

Lana expected the wolves to chase her away and steal what meat she had stored for herself. Instead, the larger of the two wolves apologized for intruding on her space, and even offered a chunk of a leftover carcass as a peace offering! Lana was taken aback. It was rare she received kindness from strangers.

She was the first wolf Peterah and Athryn befriended.
