Name Information: Named after one of the two Tsavo maneating lions, who terrorized and reportedly killed over 135 people from March to December in 1898, Kenya during the construction of the Kenya-Uganda Railway.

Volcanic/Geological Information: The eruption of a sheild (lava) volcano sent volcanic bombs soaring hundred of kilometers overhead.

Lore: When Kiche first came across The Darkness, it was a fight over a muskrat. Naturally, Kiche won, but instead of killing her opponent, she offered The Darkness a home in Eclipse Keepers under her leadership. The Darkness refused to go unless her mate, The Ghost was welcome as well. Kiche agreed, and once they were official members of Eclipse Keepers, Kiche assigned The Darkness to duty as a Chaser.

Kiche refused The Ghost and The Darkness to have pups until they were both as old and fit as they possibly could be. The Darkness was furious, but Kiche persuaded her that the best possible litter would come of the best possible wolf.

When Darkghost and Ghostcrater were born, The Darkness knew Kiche had been right to insist they waited, but it was too late for her to tell her thank you. The old Alpha had passed, and her son, White Fang took up the position.
