The only pup born to a lone she-wolf named Uma, Segret had always been an adventurous sort of wolf. When he came of age, he bid his mother farewell to find himself a pack to join. He had seen scouts from other packs before from afar and wanted a taste of that life - the ability to roam into unknown lands and return home to a loving pack that worked together for survival, like a family. After rejecting many packs along the way, he finally stumbled upon Palisade while wandering the mountains, startled to find such a young wolf that had no qualms approaching him given his large size. She propositioned him into joining her pack - a fledgling one one ironically, and though he was skeptical, he agreed to do so on a trial basis. He was allowed to become a scout since none was established previously and began living his dream. While living in the pack, he discovered love with the younger herbalist, Nyxa, a she-wolf with fur like finely spin night. She captivated him the moment he set eyes on her though initially she had no interest in him, having fully devoted herself to her herbs. As the years passed, he slowly grew on her and now in his old age he's finally won her over. Due to his impending and much looked forward to requirement, a young wolf named Ryoma was appointed to be his successor by the alpha and under the advisement of Eykata, the hardened war strategist that now occupied the nursery. He's taken great delight in showing this greenhorn what for but has also begun showing him guidance and compassion that he hopes Ryoma will pass on to the next scout. He's finally begun seeing his fellow scout Sakura as a worthy friend as well despite his initial misgivings about her due to her rather wild and carefree approach to scouting. He just hopes that he can continue being happy with Nyxa and that his pack still sees him as valuable despite his old age.
