Biography
Background
The Goddess of Love, Alora, was just a young adolescent when her powers were realized. She would often come across wolves in the pack that were arguing and fighting, and she'd blow a gentle, sparkle-filled breeze in their direction. The mist that came from her mouth had a pink hue and would enter through the wolves' noses, surrounding their mind and filling them with dopamine, a natural hormone that fills you with happiness, and let them forget the argument they were having. This power was controversial to some of the pack members because they believed they needed to argue in order to solve their problems and come to a conclusion on their own, but Alora saw things differently. She saw creatures arguing with each other and it would break her heart into pieces. She disliked the feeling with a passion and would do anything to stop it. Being born within the pack, she loved and cherished everyone around her, making the pain even more hard to bear. The wolves within the pack told her to just hold off on her powers unless she felt someone was going to be physically hurt, and so she did. Any time she saw things escalating in an argument to the point where she thought they were really going to start fighting, she would use her powers to calm them down, but she had made it to where they could still remember the argument, they would just talk about it a lot calmer than before. This sat very well with the others, they agreed with this method. Soon, Alora met Sylvéña, another goddess, but she was the Goddess of Lust, which was very different from love. At first, they had met while Alora was scouring the woods in search of arguments to solve. Sylvéña had seen her behind a tree and decided to introduce herself. After a while, they grew more comfortable and began seeing each other in secret. For some odd reason, Sylvéña refused to join her pack and wanted to continue in secrecy...they stayed that way for months, but one day, Sylvéña didn't show up to their meeting spot, instead, a bird flew down with a letter clutched in its beak. It read: "Alora, I'm sorry, but I can't continue to see you...I hope you understand. I don't want to get hurt again." But...why? Why did she think she would be hurt? She searched around all day that day for her, hoping she would find her...she had to find out why she felt that way. She searched for an entire week before coming up to an abandoned den. She could smell a familiar scent that led up to it and it smelled exactly like her. It had to be her.
"Sylvéña..?" She called from the entrance, peeking into the hollow darkness.
"A- Alora..?" Sylvéña answered, sounding startled. You could hear her fumbling around in the back. "Go away- I- I can't see you anymore!"
"But why...I still have your letter. I need to know why, and if you can do that then I will leave you alone..."
Sylvéña poked her head out into the sunlight and stared up at her with pleading eyes.
"Alora...I-" she looked down almost as if she were ashamed. "I- I feel something for you that I've never felt for anyone else and I can't handle another rejection, especially not from you."
Alora smiled and knelt down to meet her eyes. "Is that all..? Because..." she let out a soft chuckle. "Sylvéña, I love you too."
Her eyes widened and she stepped back a little, completely stunned, then, almost as if she couldn't contain it, Sylvéña smiled with the biggest smile Alora had ever seen her have. They kissed right after the excitement died down just a little and Alora was able to get her to join her pack. Although they're together and happy now, Alora never got rid of the letter. It reminds her that love is still possible, even when it seems all hope is lost.
You see two wolves snuggling together and looking at each other with the most love you've ever seen- you can practically feel the love. You probably shouldn't bother them...
