[STORY]
Aleris was once a member of a great pack, and she a skilled and brilliant wolf with a wealth of experience and skill. Yet, no wolf stays young forever and Aleris began to grow weaker with age, becoming less valuable to this once grand dynasty she deemed her home. The strain of birthing two pups also did little to aide her worsening condition. Her body began to fail her and she could no longer keep up with the demands forced upon her, and try as she might, she could no longer secure her place in her pack. She was forced to leave with her two pups, the poor pups barely a few months.

As fate seemed merciful, the old and tired wolf came across the young Alpha of Ekki, Cyra. Aleris was skeptical of this wolf, deeming her a child at first and one nowhere near fit to hold the place of Alpha with her severe lack of experience. Yet…. Cyra was a kind leader and Aleris couldn't deny the fact that the wolf had offered her and her children a home in Ekki. She may not have been able to help hunt or provide, but she found she could aide the pack through helping teach the young some of the things she knew.

Aleris inevitably became an immensely important and knowledgeable figure in the slowly growing pack, but Aleris was growing old and her latest batch of three pups left her body sufficiently weakened. Unfortunately, she passed on and joined the Seinshin, with the youngest hunting group of Ekki being named in her honor.
