She adores the little group she built around her, but she knows she can't get to close to them. Because if she gets to close, they're gonna get hurt. Be it through her or through something from her past.

So she keeps her distance, making sure they're save. Even if it means hurting herself to keep them safe

Tiresias is her longest companion, a wolf cursed with a immortal life, to see a future he cannot prevent. With his help, she was able to avoid coming into contact with her past, just for him to surprise her one day
