Biography
Magpie was born to Tigress and Ahiga. From a young age, she has always had a fondness for anything shiny, hence her name. Her mother taught her how to fight and told her never to back down from a challenge.
As Magpie got older, so did the amount of greed she held in her heart. When she went hunting or for walks outside, she would find small trinkets like tin cans and stash them in her pile. If someone tried to touch them, she would immediately try to claw their fur off. When she became an adult, Luna gave her a small allowance and Magpie bought many pieces of jewelry with it, hoarding them in her stash.
But one day, Magpie saw Luna adorning Heather with more pieces of jewelry and anger took control of her. Her queen had often said her markings were certainly beautiful, but the base color of her fur was too common. And then she decided Heather was prettier than her? Magpie had had enough.
That night, she crept over to her queen's cave and tried to swipe a necklace she always wore. Luna awoke, confused, until she saw her necklace in Magpie's mouth. She let out an enraged shriek and attacked the young she-wolf.
"What in the world do you think you're doing?" She snarled. "Stealing from your alpha? The queen?"
Magpie whimpered, trying her best to escape the slashing claws and snapping teeth. As soon as Luna calmed down, Magpie dropped the necklace at her paws and made a dash for it. Nonetheless, she didn't escape unharmed. After being attacked, she bore many new scars and injuries.
To this day, Luna still hadn't apologized to Magpie. Perhaps she thinks Magpie was in the wrong, or maybe she just doesn't have the courage to say it. But did Magpie learn a lesson? Yes. Never steal from Luna. But did she quit trying to steal other wolves' jewelry? Absolutely not.
Rather, she made a habit of stealing from her pack members. Whenever something goes missing, the first wolf that comes to mind is Magpie. But when Luna is called to confront her, Magpie immediately gives back whatever she stole. Yet, she still guards her prized stash of jewelry and shiny things day and night.
