SlowSand can from a pack of wolves that lived on a beach. After awhile of them struggling with food, they decided to try and find new territory to live in with better hunting options. While exploring they ran into another pack's territory and got into a fight. Cause they hadn't eaten a lot in awhile they were weak. Most of the wolves in SlowSand's pack were killed with a few escaping which included SlowSand. She ran until she collapsed out of breathe. As she was laying there mourning her loses and gasping for air, she heard a twig snap. She jolted to her feet to see StoneCold approaching her. She was too tired to run, so she just stood with her legs shaking as he approached. StoneCold groomed her and comforted her. She ended up telling him her story and joining the Yearning Pack.
