Duntan's mentor may have forgotten to teach him about the real gardian, the spirit that have lives centuries in those woods, Orphamine was once alive like every other being, he was a traveler, always seeking a place for him to live in, he wanted it to be perfect, so every where he went always had something that bothered him, it was too exposed, not enough, too wet, too dry, too big, too small and so on. Unfortunately one isn't spared from death, he spent years walking for his home, he entered the forest of the weeping willows, ruins of past human habitation, only few walls are left but it was too much for the liking of Orphamine, wanting to move on but his old bones and tired limbs this time failed him for the first and last time as Orphamine forced to rest to rest to let his legs regain a bit of strength passed only 3 days later, but his spirit was still seeking for a place he could go to, he thought now he could go far with minimum strength but he was trapped in the forest he spirit unable to live still linked to the body who was quickly taken by the earth, with no way to escape, he found himself forced to make this place his own, protecting it ferociously, his presence gave the forest mystical legends to be told, and many to leave with the tail between their legs, Orphamine found his skull one day, bugs and plants growing on it, he took it and wore it, he felt a little more alive as strange and disgusting as it may seem, and that's when he found the skull of a big horn sheep that he could complete his little mask. Orphamine has let few wolves enter his home without repercussion, hence why the mentor was here, the mentor was well aware of the following eyes of the spirit, always watching for a single mistake to be made, and now it's Duntan and Pulsar's turn to be watched by the spirit
