Second oldest to Shama, Apache has been the earful of the elder's chiding since the day they first met. A gentle heart, she is nonetheless, and her patience has been tried many a time.
Apache had fled her own birth pack, much like Shama, though not by choice. Hosea had found her tattered and exhausted, with only the barest of life clinging to her, but she still had some fighting left in her. It had taken time, and much of it, for her wounds to mend, and even more for her to finally speak of what had befallen her. Hosea never learned, and Apache never shared, but when she was able, she had taken her place alongside him. As chief, he is fortunate to have older, wiser voices, and the young male's decisions are always given great weight. It is known how close both Shame and Apache are, despite the crone's never-ending beratement.
