Story - Lake had been wandering for months. She was doing just fine on her own, but she was starved of conversation. Every wolf she met on her travels was either trying to steal her food or fight with her. Nobody wanted to just chat or share tongues. Then came Nightmare. Nightmare was different. She was strong, but nice and fair. They talked for a bit and Nightmare invited Lake to her pack. Lake was fascinated. There was so much going on! So many little pups, angsty apprentices, and tired warriors. This was the life that Lake wanted. Quickly, Lake threw herself into the role of a Hunter, a role that she had much experience with, having lived alone for so many years. Lake loved Pack Life. She wondered if other packs were like this, if she could make new friends and travel and see new wolves. Lake saw what Sand, a pack mate, wanted to do, but she was hesitant. What if another pack pushed her out? What if she got lost or left. She didn't really want to leave the safety and security of her pack, but Lake was so curious. She approached Alpha Nightmare with her idea. Lake felt bad talking about this right after Alpha had invited her, but she needed to find an answer to her problem. Alpha pondered a bit and then decided that Lake should become a pack Wanderer. Lake was going to get to travel the world, visiting other packs and meeting new wolves, while also feeling safe, knowing that she always had home to come back to.
