Biography
🌟Star was not meant to be the leader of a large flock. Her mother, known as the Goose for her love of their fluffy white feathers, was a simple, ordinary hunter.
The former leader of the pack, Blackthorn, stood out prominently. 🌟Star saw him as wise and steadfast, strong and calculating. He led his pack south, further away from the cold weather and settled in the rainforest where 🌟Star was born. The she-wolf grew up an ordinary pup, she didn't stand out from the rest of her siblings, and she had no way of knowing what her future held in store for her. 🌟Star was a quick learner.
Goose passed away when 🌟Star was barely a year old. This hit the very young she-wolf hard. She loved her carefree mother, though she hardly ever saw her around, she was raised by a completely different person, but she couldn't remember her name, but her mother's funny name stuck in her head for the rest of her life.
🌟Star didn't know her father, and the pack was silent about this wolf. Somewhere in the back of her mind she heard phrases about how much she resembled him, but she had no interest in him.
Days turned to months, Blackthorn gained more and more grey hair, and the once strong wolf faded away. He had not lost the respect of the pack, but he had lost the most important thing in a pack environment - his strength, poignantly bordering on youth. Blackthorn left no successor behind, he was interrupting the line of leaders. And soon he passed away.
For a week, long showers washed over the large leaves of the tropical trees, and later an obsession descended upon the herbalist in her sleep:
- The Star Guides said that 🌟Star was to be our leader.
This she-wolf was respected by all. Everyone knew of the abilities bestowed upon her from above and listened, but... 🌟Star?
🌟Star felt the burden of responsibility hanging over her like dark clouds obscuring the sun. Her ability to foresee dangers and deal with difficult situations was invaluable to the pack, but leading others was an entirely different burden. She had seen Blackthorn weigh every decision wisely on many occasions, and realised that she would have to adopt his role despite her doubts.
Unable to sleep, she wandered through the night forest, pondering her steps. Looking up at the bright stars, she remembered her ancestors who had been strong and brave in times of trouble. In that moment, 🌟Star realised that the legacy left to her wasn't just about strength - it was also about honour, trust and bravery.
Gathering her thoughts, she decided that she must follow the call of her heart and find a way to unite the pack, even if the question of her leadership remained nonsense to many. Backed by the support of her friends, 🌟Star vowed to do everything she could for the well-being of her pack. She was ready to become the person the stars had destined her to be.
