Dunnock was found wandering the lengths of the territory as a young pup and was met with unwavering warmth from Mare, who nursed him back to full health. Consequently, she took him in as her own and is considered as Mare and Shade's offspring. He spends a lot of time playing with his sister, Laike, and finds purpose in completing his duties as a hunter. Majority of the time Dunnock struggles to deal with his burden of responsibility to look after his sister - she's prone to getting into trouble with other wolves and it always falls to Dunnock to repair their relationship.
Alpine admires Dunnock's unrelenting sense of loyalty to the pack - making him of one Alpine's favourites.
