Chaltan was known for his deep knowledge of plants and healing remedies, often wandering through the dense forests and meadows to collect rare herbs and concoct healing salves for his pack.

Chaltan had a mate named Leidra, who, despite her strength and kindness, was unable to bear pups. This had been a source of silent sorrow for the couple, as they both deeply longed to nurture and raise a young wolf. Nevertheless, their bond remained strong, and they found joy in the simple moments spent together, hunting, exploring, and caring for their pack.

One crisp autumn morning, while Chaltan was out gathering herbs, he stumbled upon an abandoned pup at the edge of the forest. The pup was shivering and alone, its tiny body curled up in a ball. Without a second thought, Chaltan gently picked up the pup and carried it back to his den.

Leidra's eyes softened as she saw the tiny creature in Chaltan's mouth. She immediately took to the pup, warming it with her body and licking its fur clean. The couple decided to adopt the pup, naming it Shusthrane. They poured all their love and care into raising Shusthrane, teaching it the ways of the pack and the secrets of the forest.

Shusthrane grew up healthy and strong under the watchful eyes of Chaltan and Leidra, inheriting Chaltan's curiosity and Leidra's resilience. The little family became a symbol of hope and love within the pack, showing that family is not just defined by blood, but by the bonds we choose to create and cherish.
