Amber was the first wolf to join Bloodmoon's pack, so they are very close. The other wolves see her as his "deputy" so-to-speak, going to her for direction when Bloodmoon isn't around. Amber doesn't mind this, but she has little interest in actually taking Bloodmoon's place one day, even if she would be good at it. She prefers to use her leading expertise for pup-sitting. She loves hanging out with the pups and teaching them everything she knows.
