Copperhead instructed Iron to be careful with herbs, as not all the parts could be used for medicines and it was also dependent on their growth cycle. Iron learned when and where to gather the most necessary herbs.
Iron howled with excitement as her voice grew stronger, making sure that the adults could hear the majestic sound. She felt like a leader already.
Salvia showed Iron basic poses and moves for stalking. It seemed easy at first, but she quickly learned that it's completely different from stalking other pups and requires a lot of practice.
Some plants have healing properties, others can make you sick. Iron learned about common mistakes in recognizing herbs, and found she had a natural talent for it.
