Spotted Sweets

{Story}

Pawprints marked the ground as a young dog walked alongside his new alpha's side. He had said goodbye to his old pack, having wanted to explore new territory and find a new pack. Luckily, he had met Raspberry. A sweet, kind old soul, who accepted him with a warm welcome.

However, Spotted Sweets had to work for his place in the pack. A howlite she-wolf turned her blue eyes to him. Spotted Blaze[Spotted Blaze], a quiet yet judging wolf, would look at him until he had walked off. It made Spotted Sweets uncomfortable, sending a shiver down his spine whenever she'd do that. He wanted to confront her but knew to keep his cool if he wanted a place in the pack.

Trotting towards the two leader males, Nocturne[Nocturne] and Talon[Talon], Spotted Sweets lowered his head in admiration. Talon's gaze turned to him with a smile, his dark brown eyes seeing him as if he were just a pup. However, Nocturne's gaze pierced through him. While he was admired by all and kind to those he knew, Nocturne didn't take well to strangers. Spotted Sweets admired him, but would shiver whenever his cold gaze looked his way.

``Newbie,`` Nocturne's deep voice growled, ``We have watched you carefully and determined that you are fit to be a hunter... However.`` His yellow eyes gazed off. Talon noticed, stepping in as he cleared  his throat, ``Our hunting party is full... However, you will be a secondary chaser for our upcoming hunting party. For now...  You will be a pupsitter.``

Spotted Sweets froze. Holding his breath for as long as he could, he was baffled. - Letting out a long exhale, his blue eyes grew big and shone with happiness. ``...THANK YOOUU...`` Tears welled up in his eyes, a curved smile on his lips. Nocturne turned his head, rolling his eyes as he walked off. Talon, however, stayed. He touched noses against Spotted Sweets, ``Welcome to the pack.``
