Daughter of
Insignia and Aleph.
Lemon's littermate.
Hanu leaps to her paws and sizes Aleph up, asking if her father would like to do some training with a real warrior like her! So cute.
Blue Moon explained how important it is not only to hide out of sight, but also out of scent range. Concealing scent is much more difficult than finding a good hiding spot, but it could be the difference between life and death.
Hanu felt that she was almost ready to try a real hunt and begged her mother to let her. She listened and explained that no matter how talented a pup may be, everyone had to train until they were old enough to move on.
Hanu tried using her tongue to recognize the herb by taste, but
Blue Moon rushed to lecture the class about toxic plants. Better safe than sorry!
Hanu couldn't help but let out a soft whine of impatience while bird watching today, which scared the feathery prey off immediately. Dang it, it was the third time in an hour!
Blue Moon had a feather attached to the end of her tail, and raced through a clearing with Hanu close behind. She couldn't quite catch her yet, but she got close enough to feel the feather tickle her nose before Blue Moon pulled farther ahead.
