Biography

During the lesson: Polyphema used a few distracting scents to tempt Borealis NEEDS MATE as they practiced. A successful scout needs to have a will strong enough to stay on the right track no matter what, even if they are hungry.

During the lesson: Onyx conducted a practical lesson about controlling emotions. Borealis NEEDS MATE's skills were greatly improving but he easily lost his temper during the play.

During the lesson: Borealis waited out of sight under a bush until GIVE LUCKY walked by without noticing them. Just as Onyx demonstrated, Borealis jumped from the bush and tackled GIVE LUCKY to the ground successfully.

During the lesson: Donner Reed explained how different fur colors and patterns made a difference in how Borealis would be able to hide. He picked up on it quickly, and soon Donner Reed couldn't find him!

During the lesson: Borealis managed to come really close, studying the bird in fascination. His stalking skills were improving, but the future prey was so pretty and interesting that Borealis completely forgot about chasing it.
