"Have you been talking to me this entire time? Holy fuck man, go get a life."

"Wanna kill me? Then do it. But don't forget the way I made you feel yesterday or this morning, or last night or-"

"What do you want? Me to kiss you or kill you because I'm fine with either."

Rigys was born first of two males, his twin Silas with him, after the war between the Trials and the Atearas. He was luckily not slapped on with the 'next in line' heir title, as that belonged to his older sister Ilya and gave him the greatest of opportunities. To be wherever, whenever he wanted.. usually. He seemed to take after his father and aunt Hecate when it came to being sloppy with lovers. But around his mother, he was protective and respectful and acted as if he wasn't just screwing around somewhere.

It was important to him to keep up appearances, to be slightly late to all meetings, to have a tongue like a snake.. but it was most important to him to take care of the females in the family. He treated them like little sisters, even when they were older. He picked on them still, especially Ilya in the most lovingly brotherly way. But he loved all of his siblings, no matter how many more came each breeding period. He felt closest with Ilya and Silas, his twin. Silas just always seemed to know exactly what he was thinking, wether that was good or bad. He often tried to drag both siblings into breaking in somewhere and being in places they shouldn't be in. Ilya tried to be the voice of reason sometimes but Rigys never let her last long with that play.

When it came to meeting his mate Nyx after she joined the Hallows, they seemed to be inseparable and often was told that their relationship resembled his Auntie and Uncle's relationship, Hecate and Dracarys. Rigys and Nyx loved eachother deeply, but neither hardly mentioned their feelings and instead showed it with their bodies and actions.

Though they were toxic with each other. Their yelling fits were often, but then usually ended up with Rigys shutting Nyx up with a passionate kiss that hurt both their lips. When they fought, they fought hard. But when they loved..

He was fire while she was ice, and neither would let the other go.

Rigys had spent the day with his friends screwing around with humans. He wanted to run through human lands in his wolf form to see their reactions to a bear-sized wolf, but he hadn't thought of the consequences and the dangers that came with his actions. The humans were already posting and printing about it from the times before and now this.

He had been reckless.

By the time he was walking into the front gates of his home, he saw his father speaking with Nyx who held up a phone and both appeared mad. Rigys rolled his eyes and tried to prepare himself mentally for the war about to happen.

Before he could reach them, his mother stepped in his pathway with crossed arms and a scolding look on her face. Rigys gave her his famous charming smile and held his hands up as if claiming innocence. "Mom, you look beautiful as always. And look what I brought you." Out from his leather jacket pocket, he pulled out a moonstone necklace that he bought for her while he was in town.

Rigys held it up for her before placing it around her neck and giving her forehead a kiss. "Don't be mad, please?" He gave her puppy dog eyes and pulled her into his chest for a hug. "I can't have you mad at me before walking into a war path with these two. Not you. Please?"

After some sucking up, he continued on to handle the rest of the war once he was sure his mom wasn't too upset with him, though he did get a slight ear full from her as expected. Still, it was nothing compared to what he was about to hear.

Resting his hands inside his leather jacket, he stopped in front of the two conspiring against him with a dull look on his face. It made Nyx seethe, and Salem glared at his son. "I'm going to handle Ilya, you got this?" He said to Nyx, giving her a side look. "Oh, yes." She spoke, her dagger of irises staring deadly at Rigys.

Rigys' eyes widened as his father walked around him to handle his heir that was suppose to be with him. "Dad, it wasn't her fault. It was my idea. Don't blame her." Rigys grabbed his father's arm which made him stop. "Oh, I don't. I'm going to give her a cookie for not pissing me off today. Stay out of trouble for the rest of the day, hm?" Salem said before removing his arm.

Rigys furrowed his brows as he looked back to Nyx. "Well, why are you mad at me then?" Nyx's daggers turn into glares as she turns to walk away from him, scoffing. "Where do you think you're going?" Rigys stormed after her as if he had a reason to be mad now. "To find someone not idiotic to talk to!" She called back, making him scoff and laugh back at her. "Oh really? Idiotic huh? That's not what you were saying this morning."

"Must've been poisoned, all better now." Nyx shot back, "What a shame." Rigys pulled, which made her halt in her tracks to turn to look at him. He was smirking, clearly trying to get a rise out of her. "Poisoned again?"

Nyx's glare slowly ceased to exist as she tilted her chin up with bored eyes. "You know what, Trials? Go at it. Run through town like a lunatic-" She slowly started to walk up to him as she spoke. "Try to get them to notice you and be freaked. And when a hunter comes to take that pretty little fur you have," Nyx let her fingers run across the leather on his jacket as she batted her eyes up at him. "I will let him take you. Maybe then I will have less annoying days." Nyx smiled forcefully, a smile that didn't quite reach her gray eyes as she turned to walk away again, but Rigys grabbed her hip and spun her back to him, making her slam against his chest. He placed both hands on her hips to keep her in place. "Liar, you'd miss me too much." He smirked down at her, making her nose wrinkle with a small snarl. She slammed her fist against his chest over and over, "you- goddamned- idiot! You- could- have been- killed!" She was fuming at him, rightfully so.

He took the hits as if her little fist did nothing to him. To stop her, he grabbed her face and smashed his lips against hers. Nyx whimpered against him, a tear falling down one cheek as she grabbed a rough hold on his black shirt. He kissed her deeply while holding her body tightly to his, making the anger that she had for him melt away.

When their lips were bruised and swollen, they pulled away but only inches apart still. Rigys caressed her cheek where the tear had fallen, wiping it away before resting his forehead against hers. "I'm sorry, cor meum." Nyx closed her eyes instead of looking at him, knowing she was folding at his latin tongue. She gave his chest a small and defeated last hit. "You're a jerk." Her voice whimpered. He couldn't help but smile at her, "Yeah, but I'm your jerk."

In the forbidden woods of the hallows was a black gazebo that Rigys had built for Nyx. It was currently raining at a steady pace with no sign of sun coming soon, but the hybrids preferred it this way.

In the gazebo laid all of Nyx's work. There was a black rug with rune symbols and witchcraft markings on it, crystals, herbs, everything she could possibly need around. Melted onto the rails of the gazebo and down the steps were all heights of candles, some lit, some not due to the rain drops.

Nyx and Rigys sat on the steps, their backs each to the pillars as they faced each other, her legs inside of his. Rigys held a black acoustic guitar as he strummed her favorite song, Give Me Love.

Nyx took a deep breath with her eyes closed as she heard the beginning of the strings, a smile forming on her lips. She opened her gray eyes to look at him, Rigys focused on the guitar before eyeing up to catch her gaze. A small smile formed on his lips back to her, making her smile down to her lap in a blush. Rigys continued to watch her, studying her beauty as nothing but the rain and his guitar sounded through the woods.

The more he strummed, the louder her heartbeat felt inside of her chest. Nyx rubbed her bare legs against his black jeans, playing with her bracelet that he gave her as she listened. He knew that the prayers were important to her, the witches who spoke to her.. but his playing made them silence for just a little while as if all her creatures could be at peace and let her be in peace as well just for the time he played.

Rigys wanted to give her the world.. but for now, he would play that song for as long as she wanted him to.
