Training:
SpoilerChasing and Escaping:
During the lesson: Willow learned being the fastest isn't always the only necessary factor of success. Andromeda explained basic methods of fooling a potential prey or a pursuer.
Bird Watching:
During the lesson: Willow didn't have much luck at first, but soon she started to associate types of nesting materials with types of birds. Each time they appeared sooner than before.
Hiding:
During the lesson: Leaves? Rocks? Underbrush? Twisted tree stump? Eroded slope? Willow learned to use any environment and its features to camouflage successfully.
Stalking:
During the lesson: A cluster of rodent burrows was a great practice zone for today's class. Willow was able to stalk a mouse or two, but instead of killing it, Tulip instructed her to let it go after presenting it.
Beginner Foraging:
During the lesson: Scorpius showed Willow that every time they take a herb from nature, they must put a small piece of it back into the earth. This is so the herb can sprout again and continue to provide what the pack needs.
Hunting Basics:
During the lesson: Willow chased her first serious prey today, surprised that rabbits can jump that far and that fast. Adults made it look so easy!
