Things are going well thus far. He brought in some 'dummy' pups/outsiders as the tribes call them for The Shepherd's twin's vessel to keep doing their job.
Out of one of the pups who only got hurt, one caught the shepherd's eye. The injured pup was allowed to be healed due to an idea he had.
There was already a spirit helping to guide beings and protect the land but what of another to help them? This pup matched them and the Shepherd felt a kinship with them in a sense.
"So long as one of yer kin lives, our deal shall be in place...I already know the tribe's history esp the old way of a leader's kin keeping an imortant role. Yer son is moon touched and he'll be safe."
"Noted but Shepherd i-"
"...Moon...My name is Moon. I feel it's time and right to share it with you at least. Also yes, My brother and I are a form of the Sun and Moon, just not quite...We were...faulty...obsolete. So we were sent here to the living world to find our own place or rot away, forgotten. I am Not one to slip away esp for my brother's sake."
He was surprised to find that after some time of working with the shepherd, that the being would finally give his real name. Still it was progress and it meant so much to him as he nodded in understanding. Moon and Sunny would remain with this tribe, their vessels are mortal still for now but the idea of letting them continue their own line was there...Moon thought it interesting if his vessel and Stone's son were to pair and if not his vessel, than his brother's...either way. All four were getting to know each other for now.
The archive lines were gonna continue again so more pups this round. Same thing would happen as before and that's just fine.

Many wolves have been claimed and in each area where the limit is reached, the shepherd takes them. At least one bloodline for sure was wiped out though a wolf was needed to be spared for an archive wolf to be done. He had an idea so he called out to the Shepherd.
"...Shepherd...I have an idea for yer twin's vessel. What if they're kept as a reaper?"
At hearing this, the being came forth, curious.
"...A reaper? Explain."
"Simple, there's a deadline in a sense yet not...Yer sibling is a deity like you in a way...a guardian...Usually the Moon is seen more closer associated with death while the Sun brings life...Who says the roles can't be reversed?
Having a living reaper like this in our lands would ensure that in a way you'd keep yer twin while we have a more stable way to give you offerings to take."
The being thought about it before he agreed. His twin he could hear wihin his mind also loved the twist of a role. They'd be responsible in spreading the spores of sickness to take those weak and unworthy for them to claim and get stronger.
"...Sunny Agrees...I also guess that you want One of those in SandStone to be spared fer that lil project yes?"

He bowed his head respectfully as the being vanished once more. He went right to work to cure Fuyu and he found out that soon another breed cycle would take place to get closer to completing SandStone's Archive wolf. This would work out as a way to try out the new reaper who'd stay in Sound Village's densite. They were very into trying out new ways after all and having a reaper would do well for them. Perhaps a role called the Bane can do but that'll be for later.

"...Uh, Shepherd...?"
He spoke warily as the report comes in for every fortnight and he finds whose sick and whose not. The being he had been meeting and conversing with appeared, confused yet still a bit wary.
"...Yes Jarl of SunStag?"
He was quiet a moment as he went over what he wanted to say and how.
"...You know how you wanted vessels for youself and yer twin?...Well, Sunwisp...she got sick...It's the flu."
He spoke and he glanced to beside him to see the Sheperd's response. The being was still, frozen it seemed as he likely processed what he was just told. Finally, He spoke.
"....I...See..."
"....I'm sorry...but i do recall the agreement made between us..."
"...As am I...I can see now why temptation is a thing...I can truely see why you want those weeded out Now while young is needed...It Is a waste until something happens. Of course my twin's vessel is weak..."
The being spoke, eyes narrowing a bit...a wave of feelings likely overcoming them...anger, sadness and finally...determination as it stood and started to walk away, fading into the darkness nearby.
"Don't worry SunStag Jarl...I Will do what i vowed...those claimed by the spores i sent out will be taken when time is up...Regardless of who it is...We'll go from there..."

Things started...wolves started getting sick and were moved to certain areas of the lands claimed. He stood up high overlooking a lot of areas and the being he made a deal with stood by him.
Two vessels were chosen and cared for so that's nice...
"So, You can claim anyone in any amount save for the capital...i do want a safe space for now...Any wolf that's ill and can spread will be placed in areas where control is needed. Obvously you can't take those whom are sick Just yet..."
"...You want enough chances to spread far and wide enough in a short amount of time yet still be a test for those around...clever."
He nodded, things have gone well enough thus far and more results have popped up. Though he Really wanted to test out time frames...He wanted a dry spell time once everything settled...So test wolves can be brought in...Sound Tribe was very much rumored to partake in that kinda thing so they were keen to help.
Soon the being turned to go for now and he spoke out.
"H-hang on! What do we call you? You must have some name or title to go by!"
The being paused before partly turning to him then he walked on again

"What do you seek?"
Came the raspy, errie voice that sounded as if it was everywhere at once as a misty fog surrounded him. He heard some odd words when he was fighting in a certain space and he came back to it and check it out.
He furrowed his brows as he thought...He was aware of the tribe's rotten luck with land guardians.
"I heard yer rune words...I am curious on what you can possibly do to help if at all...The tribe i lead yearns for something...I Know what I want...I may not have long but i want this tribe to thrive and surive through so much."
He spoke, honest and clear as figure of the shadows came forth. He took a breath, swallowed and spoke.
"The tribe is wary of any sort of...unusual help...first a hellhound, Brunhild...then Penatal and then Solora...All are quiet and left us...We just want a simple thing we have no way to handle right..."
At this the being came closer, a chuckle as a set of a wide sharp tooth filled grin shows. The being was canid yet it was as if the moon itself was before him...mixed with a reaper and a demon of sorts. He couldn't see the creature's features at all but it didn't matter.
"So...you want some ....help do you?...What do you seek?"
"...A tribe whose healthy, strong...For what's the point of getting to know another when injury or sickness claims them?...I rather Know as soon as possible, as pups even, than later. I'd wish for loyal, obedient and able members as well...However, i want the health and immune systems well established before that..."
He spoke, the being came closer and he found that it was Massive as it towered over him, his glowing grin being more prominant as well as the white orbs that stared down at him.
"So i see...A tribe of health, where weakness dies early...Loyalty, and willingness to obey whall follow afterward...What do you offer me if i were to help you? Yer Virtues are yours to bear while I care for what you cannot..."
"....What do you seek that is preferred?"
He asked warily, watching as the being seemed thoughtful.
"...weak souls...dark souls...And 2 vessels with me and my twin's likeness..."
"...Take who you wish, There's many...Claim who you want within 6 moons time...I will do some...experiemental work to see what system would work best for us both...As for the vessels...go ahead and see if any in my tribe are a match...we'll do as you like for we have nothing else to lose....I just hope, we don't regret trusting a being's word again."
He spoke warily. The being tilted his head and his smile grew wider with a chuckle.
"Oh trust me...i intend on keeping to this bind...Let me prove as such. ~"
