Biography
"Alpha Smoke?" The pup whined to his leader, mildly afraid of the Cryptid Wolf."May I speak with you...?"
"You may, Eirik. What troubles you, young one?" The larger wolf spoke- not physically, as his maw was closed around a branch that never seemed to stop burning. Was it the powers of the Cryptid Wolf himself? Eirik gulped before speaking.
"I-I want to travel...!" The adolescent male squeaked out. "I-I was visiting with Lady Reika, and she said-"
"Peace." The Alpha rumbled. "I know of the conversation between you and the Mother of Travels. But before I cast my verdict, you must calm yourself. You need not fear me. I am not going to harm you, little one. Why would I, your Alpha, harm you in any way, when you are my packmate and one that I look to as my own kin? You are different, as am I. I, a Cryptid, and you born with a mutation to your fur. Rest and let your heart find peace; Cryptid I may be, but I am no monster."
Eirik felt a ripple of calm stir his fur, but then it heated up in shame. Here he was, standing before his Alpha, afraid of the very same being who had been providing for him all this time.
"I'm sorry, Alpha. I don't mean to be such a coward." Eirik whined, hanging his head in shame. However, Smoke merely laughed.
"Peace, young one. You are not the first to express your fears of me. Many of our allies do, and every time I do nothing but restore their faith in me. I bring home the pelts and trophies of my fellow Merged Cryptids; symbols of my kills. Symbols of my strength, which is allied to this beautiful world we call home.
Tell me something, young one. You wish to leave out into the unknown, even during these frightening times?" The Alpha seemed to urge for an honest answer, as though worried for the young male.
"I do." Eirik responded. "I want to go out and help save the world. Like our friends do."
"Like I do?" The larger male asked.
"...Yes. Like you do, Alpha. I want to provide for the world. I want to be a hero."
"Then be that hero, my son. And return to me with head held high and eyes as sharp as an eagle's talons. Go forth, Eirik the Great, and bring light into the darkness."

Chapter Two:
Traveling. Glitter and friends and- a white winged, fanged, and serpent tailed female pounced on the young wanderer, who had somehow found himself at the base of a tall mountain. Eirik let out a yelp as he was slammed over by a younger but much larger creature that seemed to be some sort of Cryptid slammed into him. "State your business here!" The Cryptid snarled, her wings spread wide in an attempt to intimidate the traveling wolf. Eirik's only response was to utter a rather worried whimper before trying to form a proper sentence. Whatever this creature was… she was scary.
"I- I don't want trouble!" He stammered after a moment of finding his words. "I was just looking around!" His words earned him a growl and an attempted strike across the face, that he was able to barely shift out of the way of, from the female creature.
"Cecilia! Back off him!" Broke in a new voice as the Cryptid lifted her paw to try and strike Eirik once more. Immediately the Cryptid froze, then carefully lowered her paw and retreated away from the traveler to the side of a rather small wolf. This wolf was most obviously old, but carried herself with the confidence of an alpha. Eirik let out a whine and carefully pulled himself to his paws, watching the Cryptid warily for a moment before speaking to the elder wolf. "I was only traveling. Looking for a pack to stay with for a few days…"
The elder's tail wagged somewhat. "You may stay with my pack for as long as you wish. We often welcome travelers. Walk with me, and tell me about yourself." Eirik followed the elder as she led the way through the trees. The Cryptid creature stayed behind, though she gave the male wolf a dirty look as he passed her.
---
Throughout the span of about two months, Eirik made friends with the creatures of the pack. But that was not to say there weren't tensions. One day, tensions between Eirik and two females, one a Cryptid under the name Sasha and the other a wolf by the name of Circa, grew to the point where Eirik was attacked. Luckily the male was not harmed as a young wolf dragged Sasha off of him and scolded the two females. The wolf introduced herself as Astrid, the pack's artist.
In order to distract the male from worrying about his own safety, Astrid led him to a secluded cave in the camp. Keeping in mind Eirik's plans to return to traveling, the Artist gave him the gift none could ever forget; the Mark of Lucius Skye. This mark is said to protect travelers from harm.
---
The next morning, Eirik set out on his journey. As he was leaving the pack, he encountered a much older traveller just outside the pack's borders. She introduced herself as Taria, a long-time traveler of the pack. With a gift of a beautiful bracelet that would add to Astrid's gift, Taria nodded the young traveler in the direction of a new pack.
Detailed Version
Chapter Three:Eirik steps his paws onto the dark forest that the pack of Opals calls their home. A wanderer spotted him, it was MoonFlower, the colourful male padded up to Eirik. "Hello and welcome to this pack! You can harbour here for 7 days if you so wish." Eirik stated while leading Eirik to the camp, where wolves and pups hustled around, adolescents training with some of them while others watched over the pups. Eirik saw two wolves, Dusk and Pyro, grooming each other, they looked in love. Moonflower laughed softly seeing Eirik's gaze go to the two. "Those two are lovebirds, tease them when ya can!" Moon Flower brought Eirik to OpalStar, the leader of the pack. The two spoke until sundown when Eirik went to rest from his long journey.
Eirik explored the territory on his first full day in Opal's pack, seeing where everything was kept, where they hunted, and where they gathered herbs. The pups loved Eirik, running around him, always begging to go play, finally though, Eirik relented and went to go play with the pups, playing a nice game of hide and seek. But one of the pups was lost... It was a sad day, the pack mourned the loss of the pup for the rest of the day until sunrise the next.
Chapter Four:
Erik had explored the land for days before coming across a large and diverse pack living in a deciduous forest. It was called the Verdant Throne, and was led by Octavia, a dame wreathed in firey blue beads from the Dreamlands. She was truly a sight to behold, but despite her intimidating appearance, she was quite friendly, and let Erik the Great spend time with her pack for a few days. It was rather uneventful, but still nice.
