Nothing suggested that this certain day would be anything out of the ordinary. Both hunting teams were out, Tansy and Amber were scouting surrounding lands, Opal was researching a new medical remedy and Karen was taking care of Grayson and Brajan. Everyone was taking care of their mundane tasks and lending a helping paw in growing the still unimpresive den of Gloom Bane.

But as Alpha Boomer came back from exploring the land late evening, he noticed something unusual, falling down from the sky akin to a shooting star, and decided to investigate. There, on the forest floor, in an opening between slightly burned plants, he saw a weird metallic object, smelling unlike anything he smelled before. Curious, he lightly touched the sphere with his paw and it split in the middle, with the top falling off, revealing a unique pup. Its big black eyes were wide open, studying Boomer silently. Its fur and smell reminded Boomer of Cnitharian lands he visited in his sleep, but was distinct enough that he wasn't sure if this was a coincidence. The pup barked impatiently, demanding Boomer to take it to his den and with that Alpha Boomer decided that the little alien creature would be a good fit for the Gloom Bane pack.
