Training:
SpoilerTussling:
During the lesson: Lupus began tussling with a littermate, and clamped down hard with her teeth on the littermate's tail. The littermate let out a cry, and Ursa trotted over and explained that while teeth can be used, they must be used gently and without any force.
Killing Effectively:
During the lesson: Pegasus dissected the prey gently in front of the class to show where the veins and spine are. Anatomy lessons can pay off when trying to deal fatal blows, and Lupus listened eagerly.
Ambushing:
During the lesson: Sirius took a particularly fun toy in his mouth before hiding among foliage and large boulders. Lupus was expected to find and ambush him and the toy would be her reward.
Pathfinding:
During the lesson: Vega explained to Lupus how wet fur is not a good idea, especially in the winter. He demonstrated how to find rocks and dry patches to cross a creek or a river instead of swimming across it.
Howling:
During the lesson: Lupus was a bit disappointed with her voice after the next howling attempt but adults always say that it will change for the better with time. Lupus believed them, but can't that day come sooner?
Prey Tracking:
During the lesson: Aries rolled the toy in deceptive scents today - dung, dead fish and even an ant hill! Lupus had to focus really hard to separate multiple scents entangled together to find the toy.
