Haenla

Haenla grew up in a pack that had many melanistic wolves. She was born normal, but her parents were grateful when they learned she at least carried the gene. In her pack, those than were not melanistic were lower than those that were. She grew up feeling lonely and sad because she was not melanistic. 

Haenla eventually gave birth to a son, who was melanistic. This made her very special within the pack, but it still saddened her. She abandoned her pack, and her son, and left. She eventually joined the Sunset Forest pack, where she met Alyrla. 

Alyrla fell in love with Haenla, even if she thought she had flaws. Because of her upbringing, Haenla was worried about this, but eventually fell for Alyrla. They adopted a pup together and began starting their family.
