Set Gale

(Ancient Egyptian God of Deserts, Storms, Violence, Disorder, and Foreigners. Father named him to honor both families, takes that to heart as he gets older and the Pack begins to scrutinize him more; sees himself as "a mix of both worlds" being born from both River's lineage and a wolf found outside the Pack. Chosen as Heir to lead the Pack when he was a pup. Might take on a new storm-based name as lead? Gale/Derecho/Squall? Or combine, Set Squall, Gale Set, etc)

Chosen at a young age by his grandfather, Spruce, before he could truly understand what that meant. He knew his father was proud of him, and the wolves around him treated him differently - the younger wolves treated him special, almost like royalty, while the older wolves seemed to hold him to a higher standard, being much harder on his mistakes than his sister. He didn't understand. He wanted to play as a normal pup, he wanted to be treated like his sister...

He slowly began to understand, before his training. The power he would have, the responsibility. His father's past, the reason for his pride. He wouldn't be a normal pup.

He took his training seriously; as he grew and trained, he learned of Spruce's tumultuous leadership, the Pack's reaction to his grandfather being chosen and why he'd been so cautious involving himself, why Set had been kept in the dark for so long. Set promised to himself he would do whatever he could, not only to lead his Pack properly, but to have the Pack respect and accept him properly.

(Takes in the name Set Gale as leader, hoping to earn the Pack's respect after hearing what a hard time Briar had. Those close to him still call him Set, otherwise goes by Gale or Set Gale)
