During the lesson: Storm Surge explained the secrets of body language today. Downburst became more aware of even tiny signs and gestures, which will help to build healthy relationships in the future.
Killing Effectively:
During the lesson: The carcass was tied to the tree today. Downburst had to grab onto it and with gravity's help, tear it apart with a shearing technique!
Working Together:
During the lesson: Downburst listened carefully to Pavo's lecture about how biting and tussling aren't allowed during teamwork. That was a bit disappointing, but Downburst was ready for the hard work.
Howling:
During the lesson: Downburst was a bit disappointed with her voice after the next howling attempt but adults always say that it will change for the better with time. Downburst believed them, but can't that day come sooner?
Prey Tracking:
During the lesson: No matter the weather, a good hunter must be ready for every obstacle. Downburst learned how to work in harder conditions, and although it was a bit stressful, she felt proud at the end.
Recognizing Danger:
During the lesson: Downburst had a hard time distinguishing between nearly identical berries. In her opinion it was impossible to make such a decision as quickly as Hydrus wanted, but she explained that paying attention to detail was a must for an herbalist.
Tussling:
During the lesson: Today the lesson included effective snarling, biting at the air with extra loose saliva, and pretend-biting each other's faces while making as many awkward gurgling noises as possible. Apparently this really makes other animals tremble in fear!

Downburst got out of the rock pile that makes up the hunters den and look up to see that the Queen was asleep. At least she thought she was asleep. She climbed the rocky outcrop to reach to her side. She pressed her nose to Lyra's dark blue-black pelt to find that she was still. She then howl to gather the pack. As her first duty as Queen, she arranged a funeral for the fallen one. After Lyra was buried, she began her and her mate's coronation cermony. She was also given Lyra's Tiara. After the party, she moved in the former Queen's den which came her own. Sokka moved in with her but return to the pupsitters' burrow from time to time to watch pups, as he was also a pupsitter.
