Pairbond - Fern, for all her best intentions, is not one with the sense of direction to match her skills in scouting. Truth be told, her penchant for it is a mystery no one has successfully understood. Despite herself, this had led to a great many retrieval missions when her adventures took her just a bit too far. While she always comes back, her constant wandering eventually led to Rowan, the mischievous hunter, to silently begin to keep tabs. Despite his air of nonchalance, one overnight lunar exploration led to the panicked males confession. Against all odds, the goofy pair quickly become the first pairbond in the pack.
