* Date Received:November 28 | Pack Name: The keepers| Log Info: After Ardesia left the Yxteus Pack, the world around her seemed both vast and overwhelmingly unfamiliar. The forests stretched endlessly, and the mountains loomed. She wandered for days,as she made her way through dense undergrowth. Eventually, her body began to crave rest, and her throat felt parched from the endless miles. The scent of water caught her attention, carried on the wind like a promise of relief. She quickened her pace, drawn to the glimmer of blue that peeked through the trees. As Ardesia approached the lake, its surface glistened beneath the pale sunlight, reflecting the surrounding trees and the sky above. The air was fresh, carrying the faint scent of moss and wet earth. She couldn't remember the last time she'd had a drink, and the thought of the cool water. She approached slowly, lowering her snout toward the edge of the lake. Her tongue flicked out in anticipation of the cool, refreshing drink. But before she could dip her muzzle into the water, a low, rumbling growl sounded from behind her. muscles tensed, her hackles rising instinctively as her ears swiveled back. The growl was deep, threatening. She pivoted on her paws, her body low to the ground, ready to face whatever threat had emerged from the shadows. Her eyes meet the gaze of a wolf, It was large—towering over her.A almost completely black wolf stood in front of her the wolf had some brown patches and glowing brown eyes he was covered in healed scratches. For a long moment, they studied each other. The air between them was thick with tension, a silent standoff. It wasn't hungry, and it wasn't trying to intimidate her for sport—it was simply warning her. This was its territory. Ardesia took a cautious step back, her body shifting to keep the stranger in her line of sight. She wasn't afraid, but she knew better than to make any hasty moves. Her ears flattened against her head, and her tail lowered just enough to signal respect. "I meant no harm," she growled softly, her voice a low rumble in the still air. "I only seek water."The large wolf did not respond immediately, but its gaze softened, just slightly. It took a step forward, its paws silent on the earth, each movement fluid and controlled. And then, from behind the trees, came a second growl. This one was louder, deeper, more menacing. The ground seemed to vibrate with the sound of it. Ardesia's fur stood on end, and she immediately shifted her stance. The tension that had been building between her and the strange wolf now thickened with a new, undeniable sense of danger. She knew the sound well a mountain lion. The first wolf shifted, stepping in front of Ardesia in a protective gesture. It faced the new threat, muscles coiling beneath its dark fur. Ardesia's heart raced, her instincts taking over. She had expected a confrontation but,Not like this.Out of the trees it emerged . Its eyes were wild, filled with rage, The wolf before her didn't flinch eyes fixed firmly on the mountain lion. The air crackled with anticipation as the standoff continued. For a fleeting moment, Ardesia made a decision. Her body shifted from caution to readiness, her muscles coiling in preparation. The battle was about to begin.
