🐟| Paddlefish swiftly made his way through the swamp, his paws collecting grime with each step. He didn't really mind it, but it'd be nice to get out of the muck he was in. That's when he noticed the scent of...really nice flowers? The followed the scent to see two male wolves basking in a bunch of flowers. Paddlefish looked confused for a second before bearing his teeth, snarling at the wolves. "Who are you?" He spoke through his fangs. "Um excuse you, we were enjoying the moment." A strangely patterned wolf with two different colored eyes spoke with offense. When Paddlefish didn't change his tone, the wolf sighed. "Well, my name is Magnificent, and the wolf next to me is my dear brother, Delight. Now, if you'd rather we not broadcast to our pack that there's a hostile intruder in our midst, I'd suggest you calm it down." Magnificent warned, standing up and beckoning his brother to do the same. Paddlefish was not in the business to fight off a pack, she relinquished is aggression and sat down with a huff. "Paddlefish, that's my name. I'm a traveler." He spoke. "I see...a traveler. Our pack is very welcoming to those. Can't imagine why- They're so- ugh never mind, follow us for refuge if you wish." Magnificent replied with a clear disdain for travelers. Why? His brother, Delight didn't really talk much, just stood up and stayed close to his brother, with flowers tangled in his fur.
🐟| When they arrived, Magnificent abruptly stopped. "Well here we are, welcome to Sense of Honor I suppose! Traveler den is over there-" Magnificent spoke quickly, dismissing Paddlefish. "What do you have against travelers?" Paddlefish, was unfortunately curious. Magnificent gave him a very cross look before explaining, with a dramatic sigh beforehand. "Our mother was a traveler; she had pups in one pack and dropped them off at the next, me and Delight, like trash." Magnificent huffed before patting Delight's paw when he noticed his brother look a bit down at the topic. "Ah, I- Not all travelers must be like that though?" Paddlefish wasn't the best at comforting others but cared enough to learn and try to find a solution. "Not from what this pack has experienced. There's about let's see...five other wolves that have experienced the same thing. Except their mothers had them here and just up and left!" Delight suddenly spoke, clear outrage on his face that Paddlefish was defending travelers. "Well maybe they felt it was safer for you here. Traveling with puppies is dangerous, not many survive. And they had to leave eventually, they belong to another home, they couldn't just leave them, right?" Paddlefish responded, receiving a scowl from Magnificent, but a more curious look from Delight. "How-" "Tell us more, tell us more of how you think. The traveler minds. I want to know it." Delight spoke, interrupting his brother. And Paddlefish smiled, just a tad.
🐟| Paddlefish spend most of his time at Sense of Honor speaking with Magnificent and Delight, telling them of his travels, how he sees the world, and getting the two more comfortable with the idea of travelers. Once he had to leave, he noticed their hurt, and reassured them that it was okay.
