Raising her nose to the air, Eule takes careful sniffs of the wind. Her muzzle lights up with static and sends shudders down her back. She's followed some kind of eerie path to a mountain's summit, but now she waivers. This can't be safe. It can't be right.
She doesn't see anything wrong, and can't smell anything either, not through the pain. The only overtly unnerving trait is the silence, but mountain peaks are usually quiet.
Still, she pauses. There's something here, even if she can't describe it.
In the end, the only reason she enters is to investigate the herbs and flowers she sees sprouting around the odd rocks. It'll be quick. She can be in and out before anything happens, she'll just check to see if there's anything useful all the way up here. Better to not waste energy. Her steps are hurried and fast, down the smooth steps into the caldera and towards the center.
A soft hum buzzes in her ears, but she sees no source. Her pace borders on a run.
Pure white flowers bloom around the angular black stone, petals swaying delicately in some imagined breeze. She lowers her nose to sniff them, brushing over the leaves. Lillies. She's never encountered this kind before, so they may very well have medicinal use. Bending slightly, she moves to pick one. Her nose bumps against the stone.
