Dara

Dara was born in the cold and heartless glacier climate into a pack of lunar wolves. She was always a very regal and fierce puppy. She was a full bred lunar wolf with silver eyes and a black pelt tinted with what looked like stars. When she grew into her adolescence, she became a very loyal and kind, but she was very fiery and fierce when she needed to be. She was already a very skilled fighter and could give the adults in her pack a run for their money. The Alpha's son fell in love with her beauty and skill. Without her know her parents promised her as a mate to the future alpha. Dara had no idea of this until she was a one year old. When she was first told she was first annoyed with her parents. She felt betrayed. Her parents knew she was not ready to be a mate . The wolf that she was betrothed to was arrogant, rude, and snarky. She eventually made herself accept that this was her fate, to marry this arrogant prince and become dominant female of the pack. It was like this for five moons. After she had spent time with him he was even more intolerable than she could have imagined. He had no respect for her at all. Dara couldn't go two seconds with him without wanting to rip her fur out. Even though she felt like she was betraying her pack, she knew she couldn't go through with her marriage so she made the hard decision to run away before she became his mate. She sprinted as fast as she could into the woods. After an hour of running she heard paw steps sprinting after her. She immediately thought that is was someone from her pack coming to find her. She started to run faster. She finally stopped and accepted that she would have to either go back or fight and she wasn't looking to fight with a pack mate. When she turned she immediately knew that the wolf following her was not from her pack. It was a handsome and confident looking young wolf who was nothing like Dara had ever seen. He was white tinted with an icy blue, but he had the glowing blue spots of a lunar wolf with a presence that was both regal and strong. Dara was no longer scared and was now just curious. He immediately locked eyes with her and asked, "who are you?"
Dara cautiously replied, "I'm Dara. I'm from the local lunar pack," she didn't want to reveal anything to this stranger though, "I'm just on a walk. I should be heading back now." She turned and began to walk away, but the wolf asked her if she was ok. Dara turned, but didn't reply, he looked concerned.
"You just look really nervous," he stated, " I just thought you were in trouble, are you in trouble?"
Dara decided that it might be nice to vent to someone and she didn't see how this lone wolf could use any of her information for anything. She told him about her parents and how they were forcing her to marry a rude wolf who had no respect for her. The stranger told her his name was Winter after they had talked for hours. Dara couldn't explain it but Winter intrigued her. He was so confident, yet caring, polite, and understanding. He later said that he had a pack and was the alpha's son and that if Dara really needed some where to hide he was sure that his pack would accept her. As much as Dara liked Winter she didn't feel comfortable with following him back to his pack. She declined the offer, but she admitted that she wanted to see him again. Winter suggested that they meet here every night at the same time to talk. Dara agreed. She went back to her pack. Luckily, everyone in her pack just assumed she was hunting. She met Winter night after night. Each time they met her feeling for him got stronger. After moons of meeting together Dara knew had feeling for Winter. One day her parents told her that she would have to get married soon. She tried to persuade them, but they refused to listen. That night she cried while she ran to her and Winter's meeting spot. As soon as she got there he could tell she was upset. She told him ever thing her parents had said. Winter was enraged that her parents didn't even give her a choice. He thanked her comforted her. She was grateful for his comfort, but she felt deep pain knowing she would probably never see him after she got married. Winter than offered her a place in his pack again saying that he didn't know how else to help. After a couple hours of thinking she said she would go with him. That night the two started to travel back to Winter's pack. After a moon of travel the two where closer than ever and Dara's feelings where even stronger for Winter. One night when they where watching the stars together Dara worked up the courage to tell Winter that she was in love with him and had been for some time and asked if he felt the same. At first he said nothing and Dara feared she had made a mistake, but than he said that he had always had feelings for her but had though that a beautiful lunar wolf like her would never be interested in a half lunar wolf like himself. Dara just laughed and told him she couldn't see why he thought that. He was a very handsome wolf. The two traveled for a couple more moons back to Torden pack. They had discussed becoming mates for the last moon of their travels, and had decided that they wanted to. When they arrived the whole Torden pack was very excited to see Winter again and even more excited that he had met a wolf he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. No one was more excited to see Winter than his mother Kyra, but she was at first a little skeptical of Dara wanting to be Winter's mate. Kyra allowed Dara to join the pack and she became the mother that Dara never had. Dara also became best friends with Winter's adopted sister, Aurora. The two became inseparable, they did every thing together wether they were hunting or just having fun. After a while Kyra told Dara that she would allow her to marry Winter and someday lead the pack. She told her that Dara acted like a leader already and that Dara and Winter were the perfect dominant coupe to take her and Oak's place one day. Dara was very flattered. Her and Winter became mates soon after that. They were both very happy. Winter and Dara became highly respected since they were the future alphas. When Kyra died it was a blow to the whole pack, but Dara and Winter soon took control and resumed normal duties after a couple of moons. Dara is currently leading the pack and has become a leader of legends. She is fierce and protective, she would never let anything happen to her pack.
