Lore: SpoilerOne cold winter night, Void was wandering through the deciduous forest, looking for somewhere warm to rest. It had been some time since she had eaten, so she was feeling a bit frail. The night was dark with snow clouds blocking out the moonlight. She had been walking comfortably all day, but now, something was off. She felt uncomfortable, like she was being watched. After a long time of feeling this way, she started to think it was just her nerves. She brushed it off, still searching for a warm place in this dark, snowy forest. As she walked, she kept hearing sounds. Some bushes would rustle, or some snow would make a crunching sound, but she could never seem to identify what was making those sounds. But soon, she would find out, and she would wish she didn't.

Before long, she heard something large running up to her from behind. She moved just in time to avoid being pounced on by a hungry cougar. She assumed he was what she had an uncomfortable feeling about, but there was no time to think of that. She started running as fast as she could, hearing the cougar's heavy footsteps thumping behind her. She kept looking behind herself to see how close the cougar was, but this mistake came to be her downfall. Not looking ahead caused her to run into the bank of a roaring river. She wasn't able to keep herself from slipping off the frozen bank, and thus she fell into the icy water. She tried to swim to the surface, gasping for breaths when she could, but the water was too strong. Unable to get enough air, she fell unconscious, letting the river carry her where it pleased.

When she woke up, she was laying on something cool but hard, like the frozen ground, she thought. She lifted her head, soon hearing another voice.
