Lore: Spoiler Vivien was born to Kora and Copper of Signs of Coming Storm. The female has always been very sociable and imaginative, making a lot of friends in the nursery. She was sensitive and gentle wolfess, caring towards others. Everyone seemed to like that sweet girl, but her very best friend has always Dominic. They kept together, spending a lot of time together. Also the lone time together. Vivien loved his adventurous and optimistic personality. Many nights in their adolescent moons the two stayed awake, sneaking out to explore the territories and watch the night sky. They had so much fun together. He had her blushing so much. And she felt that he did feel the same for her. The night they confessed their love for each other was the most beautiful night for the young wolfess. Soon after reaching adulthood the two became mates. They spent beautiful moons together in the pack and Vivien felt that she could not get any happier. However, her happiness broke down when one day Dominic told her that... he was setting off. He was leaving. Leaving her. He was going to travel. Vivien was so shocked. In such disbelief. He was leaving. His promise that he would always love her did not really help much. When Dominic left, she spent the entire following night crying. She wandered alone around the territories, feeling so lonely and... betrayed. She couldn't really find her place in the pack again without him. That was when she decided that... she needed to clear her head. She informed Rapid Storm that she wanted to become a traveler and explained her reasons, for which the leader showed a lot of compassion. Vivien set off, leaving behind her home, making herself a promise to come back there one day, once she has found herself again.

Lore: in spoiler because I wrote a lot SpoilerThe Nightveils' camp wasn't very large, and neither was the nursery Vivien had been escorted to upon her arrival, but it was beautiful and cozy, and it reminded her of home. She turned, gazing fondly down at the pups who slept soundly by her belly. The journey had been so exhausting for their little legs, but now they were snoozing peacefully in the padded nest. The relief Vivien felt when she was offered shelter and food by the kindly hunting party who'd found her was incomparable to anything else. The party's lead, a large black-and-grey she-wolf named Silo, had let the puppies ride on her back as they made their way to the pack's camp. She had shown them to the nursery, ushering out a dozen tussling pups to play outside.
"Sorry for the clutter," she'd said as she showed her inside. "Our pack is actually migrating to find new territory soon, so things are a little messy. Make yourself at home though!"

Now Vivien lay in the peaceful little den, being gently fussed over by the three other nursing mothers. A few puppies lay sound asleep in their own nests, but most were playing outside the den, their yaps and yelps of excitement drifting through the entrance.
"Are you comfortable?" A pure white she-wolf adorning a fluffy read cloak smiled politely down at her. Her eyes and the surrounding skin were a light pink, and Vivian realised with surprise that she must be albino.
"I'm fine, thank you," she answered, returning the wolf's smile and snuggling down into her mossy nest.
"I'm Ivory," the white wolf nodded toward the other two she-wolves, "that's Alpine, and Jet."
Alpine approached to touch noses with the traveller. "You're beautiful, Vivien," she said kindly, before letting out a small yelp and spinning around to scold the little black-white puppy who'd just nipped her tail.
Jet opened her mouth to speak, but before she could get her question out a group of puppies came barrelling into the den, squealing with excitement. The leader of the tiny army, a little brown wolf with grey streaking her nose and limbs, charged to the back of the den and dove into a nest, rummaging around determinedly. "Find it!"

"Nooooo!" The little black-white pup broke away from her mother's berating and scampered after her sister, crashing into her and attempting to pull her out of the nest. "Never!"
"Rust! Myth!" Alpine barked sternly, but the pups either didn't hear her or simply chose to ignore her, continuing with their intense game of pretend. She sighed in defeat, shooting Vivien an apologetic look.
"It's okay," Vivien giggled gently, "they seem like a pawful."
"You have no idea." Jet chuckled, glancing down at her own litter. They were much younger, almost newborns, but they seemed almost just as lively as their denmates, whining and nipping at one another. "I was trying to ask, what's a wolf like you doing travelling with pups? It's not safe out there with no home for them."
"It's a long story." Vivien ducked her head, sweeping her tail softly over her puppies' backs. She thought of home, of her packmates, and of Dominic. For a moment she felt a tinge of that old loneliness that had engulfed her when he'd left. It made her heart ache.
"I lost someone, back home," she went on, "someone I truly loved abandoned me. I needed to get away, to find myself out here. The puppies happened during my travels."
Vivien looked up from her litter when she felt a warm body settle close to hers. Alpine smiled kindly back at her, and leaned over to lick her ears in gentle sympathy.
"You didn't go back home when you had them?" Jet asked curiously.
"I thought about it, but I just couldn't. I still felt lost. It just hurt to think of going back."
"Well, you can stay here as long as you need. I'll go get our healer Solstice to check you n' your pups for sickness." Jet arose from her nest, nosing her puppies into a little bundle and allowing Ivory to settle down to watch over them.

Vivien felt a little piece of her heart stitch itself back together as she watched the she-wolf exit the den. The den was small, and the pack was crowded, but they were kind. She felt welcomed, cared about, loved, even just hours into her stay. This is exactly what she'd set out to discover. Adventure, and spirit, and soul, but also kindness.

Lore: With her pups older and stronger, Vivien decided to set out and find her next stop. Wandering through the Coniferous forest, she happened upon a brown wolf with a star on her head. The unfamiliar wolf introduced herself as Lyla, leader of the Lunate Glade pack, and invited her and her pups back to stay. Vivien, she explained, could help watch over the pups of the pack, and her and her pups could find shelter, food, and friendship there.

She watched her pups grow into adolescents as the days passed by, as winter turned to spring. She enjoyed her time in Lunate Glade, the bonds she made and safety she felt as she watched her pups grow. She was learning more about herself with each stop, but as time wore on, she felt herself once again feeling restless. She knew it was time to move on to the next part of her journey. Her packmates at Lunate Glade were sad to see her go, but understood her decision. They assured her that if the need should ever arise, she could always return and find a home here.
