Lake

Lake was born to two wolves, both loners. Loner life is hard-- that's why many join packs who welcome them in. He was the strongest of his litter, and when his parents came across a pack, willing for them to join, they said they only had room for three pups. There were four in Lake's litter. Being the strongest, his parents made the difficult decision to leave him behind to fend for himself. He traveled day and night, fighting other lone wolves in a desperate search for territory. He became extremely dedicated to fighting for himself, and that turned into sour envy whenever another wolf was able to beat him in battle. Naturally, he found a way for him to become better than most, although it wasn't easy. He first met Serenity when practicing his moves, and she began to mock him for his clumsy exposure when biting or slashing. Angered, he fought her, but neither wolf could defeat the other. Tired, the two warily accepted peace together, and became close friends, and becoming traveler wolves. Then, one day, Lake encountered Tala. they talked for a bit, and after Lake mentioned his lack of a pack, Tala offered to help him make one.

Intrigued, he accepted, forming Ballad Pack, and inviting Serenity to help him lead as Beta. The two formed a close, loving pairbond and had their first litter, Bramble and Crow. After a struggle with food, Bramble decided to leave the pack, devastating both, but they fought through it together. Now they have had their second litter, Raven, Shadow, and Rabbit, and are proud and excited to meet their soon-to-be grandpups, parented by Crow, their son, and his pairbond, Ebony.
