Starling

Cool, collected, and assertive are all words that fit Starling to a T. A smooth operator and unafraid of taking chances, this wolf knows what she wants out of life and goes for it. She'll make the first move in almost any situation, and it is her decisiveness that makes her such a good finisher for one of her pack's hunting groups. She wastes no time in second-guessing her prey's next move, but instead ensures there will be no next move.

On occasion, Starling's quick action proves fruitless or gets her into trouble, but she is unafraid of failure. She prefers to roll with the punches and learn through trial and error, and for this, she is a highly-respected member of the pack.

Starling is the mother of Shoei, and she is the kind of parent any pup dreams of: laissez-faire, approachable, and understanding. She prefers her pup to learn the way she did as she grew up: making lots of mistakes and trying new things. Though she is lenient, she does still take some time to instill good values in him, and she thinks his edgy, doom-and-gloom personality is a hoot.
